I'm sure he does, but it is a fact the team have told him to not play sim games into 3AM before a race. Which I thinking fair enough. I'll stick to the English reporting on the event. No idea what the report you linked to states.
There are subtleties, english press uses words like banned, not allowed, been told. Whilst Max himself in Dutch uses very different language like his own time is his own, and that he has been asked which is very different than told. But most importantly he argues that nobody complained in Monza, but now the armchair experts say something else. He goes on to exclaim that he knows himself as to what he can do or not in his own time. And that he had enough sleep. The frustrations had nothing to do with that, the team simple wasn't performing.

I prefer to stick to the horses mouth :)

Actually the team 'reached an agreement', I doubt very much they asked him 'nicely' with his poor performance and attitude last weekend, letting the entire team down. They probably reminded him of his contractual obligations for the millions he's paid.
The horse blaming the team for his poor driving and crashing into Hamilton eh? My how his 'nature' attitude has quickly vanished.

I mean from his own comments and the spec RBR brought out for Hungary, one might argue the team let him down. He's carrying the full load without Perez, it would be crazy to even suggest he's the one who let anyone down.

The "agreement" they reached is that he won't sub in for someone in a sim race if it's outside the regular sleeping hours. He's still going to sim race.

Max by all accounts seems to be quite a difficult person to manage. His engineer was quoted a while back suggesting he fears what he’ll be like when the car is less competitive, because he’s angry on the radio even when he’s winning. I think it was a reminder that the Max we remember from a few years ago that we thought had gone and that maturity had left behind, was there all along. If he’s staying up to 3am the night before a race and behaving like he did, I think any employer would have to have a word as it affected his performance.

Teams have bad days and Red Bull have had very few of those in recent years. They’ve given Max all his wins. Time to act like a champion and take responsibility as part of a team. Personally I think it’s who Max is and long may it continue lol.

Did you see the actual video where that was said? Did you see his non-verbal communication? Max was sitting right next to him. They were having a laugh and joke, together with the presenter.

Having lived for 28 years in the UK, and worked a lot internationally. I never cease to amaze me how bad many British, and North-Americans, are at reading the room when there are other non-native English-speaking nations involved. Typical exceptions are in operational teams in the army, intelligence and law enforcement — and also in high pressure, high stakes business environments. Those two are absolutely fine, and have clear and direct communication. That is very important. It is like many people don't realise that the concept of 'pleases and thank you's' simply doesn't exist in other languages. The flip side is that when someone with such a background exclaims a thank you or such support, they truly mean it, and it isn't just someone being polite, or the right thing to say, or habit.
Teams have bad days and Red Bull have had very few of those in recent years. They’ve given Max all his wins. Time to act like a champion and take responsibility as part of a team. Personally I think it’s who Max is and long may it continue lol.
Not the attitude nor key attributes of a winning organisation, honesty, truthfulness, and taking accountability is. But most of all; demonstrate performance and contribute to the win.

Max comes across as a manchild all of the time. I could never be a fan of that sort of temperament.
Of course all drivers have their moment. But he is the worst in my opinion.
Especially when things don’t go his way. It’s never his fault.

Exactly, I’m sorry but IMO Max did let the team down last weekend, they put in all that work, spend all that money, and he’s up till AFTER 3AM playing games. No matter who you are if your up till that time, then waking up at what 8AM? To start a full day of training media and then a 2 hour hard physically demanding race, so a hard mental and physical day at the peak end of sporting after 5 hours sleep, it’s gonna affect you and if that shows in your work, your employer will have a word.

As I said, it wasn’t the teams fault Max crashed not Hamilton. That was pure frustrated inpatient immature Max of old.

He has been carrying the full load without Perez for the last 4 years at least that is no excuse. I’m shocked Perez is still in the team. The ‘team’ did not let him down at all, the other teams have caught up, and Max needs to grow up and concentrate if he wants to win, he has had by far the fastest car for ages and his talent has allowed him to use it and win, now he has other cars as fast or faster and drivers as talented properly racing him.

And your last comment proves my point, he has been told not to be up that late playing games under team orders. He must stick to the regular sleeping hours the team will be paying professional sports doctors to come up with.

Max the class of the field in the wet leading every qualifying session so he starts 11th tomorrow. Hope it is a dry race cause otherwise Max is going to storm through the field.

LeClerc will start on pole with Perez beside him. Lewis 3rd and Lando 4th with Piastri 5th and George 6th. Then Sainz, Alonso and Ocon.

It was a weekend to forget for him for sure, not the behaviour you’d expect of a multiple world champion with 9 seasons experience IMO. Telling journalists that anybody who criticises him can ‘eff off’ in the media pen was cringe too.

He seems to have calmed down now and Red Bulls updates seem to have settled him again in Spa now the car is handling the way he demands. Let’s hope the ten cars in front of him make a race of it.

So all this crying from Max while he still has the fastest car?

That boy should be grateful Red Bull gave him those titles rather than giving crap on Red Bull when McLaren has a car that can pose a bit of a challenge for a few races.

Max plays indeed too many video games. These type of torpedo attacks you see in online video games too.
