I like the Weather Channel widget because you can get hourly and daily forecast in the medium sized widget. And You don’t have to be paying for the premium app to get it. I do wish these apps would have more flexibility in what you see. For instance if there’s no rain in the forecast show wind speed instead. Or at least let users choose. That’s what’s nice about Carrot’s Watch complications. You can choose what you want to see on your watch face from from a number of weather metrics.

Does anyone have any sports apps that have updated with widgets yet? None of mine have yet, I hope someone like ESPN, CBS Sports or Yahoo Fox Sports creates a scores widget but nothing yet.

If anyone wants to try it, I made an app for reusable timers that can be started from widgets ?

Its not showing in the App Store at Tyme...
Oh weird I see it, but I guess different countries have much different rankings, anyway I edited the comment with a link but it's awaiting for approval. The full name is Tyme - Timers manager you should find it like this

Not just aimed at you but why do so many descriptions say that you need a subscription to unlock all features, annoying in itself, but then dont actually say what you get for paying extra :-

FEATURES:
- Easy and simple interface to group your Tymes and keep them organized
- Light and Dark mode support
- iCloud sync across all your devices
- Siri integration to start Tymes with your voice
- Custom sound notifications
- Stunning neumorphic design
- iOS 14 widget to easily start and check your Tymes from the home screen
- Multiple app icons to match your style
- Usage dashboard
- And much more coming soon...

IAP PRICING:
Tyme offers 2 options to unlock all the features on all your devices
Pro Monthly at $0.49/ month
Pro Lifetime at $2.99/ one-time purchase

There is a list of features and the costs but without getting the app and trying i have no idea what i miss out on for just using it as free.

I see your point but at the same time it will take lot of extra text to explain how it works, what's included and what's not in the free version, probably most users won't even read it, and if they do, they might get scared of it and not even install it... for the user it cost nothing to download a 5mb app and see how it works, for me that 1 download it's one more chance to rank higher... that said, I might add it, I just didn't even think about it before, but there's pros and cons.

By the way Tyme is not meant to be used with a subscription you can do almost everything for free, I added one so that users can try the 3 days free trial and if they like the extra features they can buy the Lifetime plan, there's no option to have a free trial on a one time purchase to that's why I add it.

FotMob has some really nice widgets:

However personally I’m looking for an overview of all matches today with live scores instead of only widgets of your favorite teams. Anyone found anything else yet?

We're now 5 days removed from the release of IOS 14 and I'm starting to get a little surprised I haven't had more app updates. A lot of them still say "Bug Fixes" but I'm waiting for apps like my sports apps (TheScore, NHL, MLB) and Pocketcasts to come up with something exciting for IOS 14. I know it takes some time, but like I said, we're past the first weekend and I thought I would have so many app updates by now.

Why does this thread say I am the original poster? (I am not) And where did the wiki go?
Because the mods thought it made sense to take my OP, merge it with another thread that's been ongoing since loooong before the release of any widgets, remove the meat of said OP since there's another thread that links to a completely different website that has a list of available widgets and leave this one open for discussion of widgets because..... reasons.

I just emailed TheScore and they replied and said there is no time table for widgets and no support planned. That sucks. Looks like I might have to start using a different sports scores app if another one gets it.

The existing widgets are still working though, right?

That’s a bummer. If CBS comes out with one than I might go back to them. The Score used to be such a progressive app when it came to adaptations.

It might take a while before it shows with data. I've also noticed that with my favorite weather widget 'Forecast Bar'.
Yeah a simple reboot fixed it. Kind of disappointing though as the medium-sized widget looks a lot like apples weather widget without the current temperature. Think I'll stick with apples widget for now. Don't know why they wouldn't put the current temperature on it

If it's a subscription, it's gone. Just like kneeling in football. Price per, assuming I'll do that
wigetsmith is a non starter
I agree, that subscription price is way over the top. I am continuously reading about accolades for widget Smith on various tech sites. Never mentioning the high cost of the pro version

I'm missing the option in all the currently released iOS14 weather widgets (Forecast Bar, Carrot Weather, Weather Channel, The Weather Network) to show both percentage and amount of precipitation per hour and per day and a minute by minute in one view. I'm a big fan of Forecast Bar which does have a widget that can change from hourly to daily view and into precipitation view (when it will start raining soon) and has some options to change in the widget when you long press on it (but not what you are asking here) but I would rather see all three in one widget. You can ofcourse have separate widgets installed but that takes up so much space on either homescreen or widget area (NC).

The way Partly Sunny currently does is the best I think but that only has Dark Sky as weather source and hasn't been updated for iOS14 yet so is only available in Notification Center as a widget (besides being an app). Other detailed widgets/apps out there that I also hope to see become available with an iOS14 homescreen widget are BeWeather3 (still also only Dark Sky as weather source) and Hello Weather which all have lost of options to customize currently but I do wonder if they can still offer these with iOS14 homescreen or if this can no longer be done since the original NC widget were more customizable I think (less Apple restrictions).

I really wished that the Apple weather widget showed feels like temperature, I think only the weather network has this option but their data is not so accurate.

More App Updates, just more generic "bug fixes". Is there a weather app that I don't have to pay an arm and a leg for that has a nice widget? I have weatherbug and they don't have widgets yet. I've heard good things about Carrot, but is that the app where you have to pay for the app and then pay for the subscription fee? That seems a little steep.
