Has anyone cracked the Apple photos widget yet? How about a reasonable third party widget to display a rotation of photos from a given album in Photos?

Apple have only provided a 'For You' photos widget, so it rotates between the Memories section and the Featured section of the Photos app.

They might add another type of widget for Photos. If you look at other widgets, like News, there's a bunch for 'Today' and a bunch for 'Topic', for example.

Has anyone seen a timeline on when the Outlook widget update will be released?

Someone should compile a list of all Apps updated for IOS14.

I was thinking of starting a thread with it, but it seems this topic covers it, just without a comprehensive list?

I shared an external list of 240+ apps that offer widget support already a couple of times in this topic but I understand that some people would rather see a list here as well (maybe per category). I now tried to copy over the list and convert to text and paste it in the 1st post that now has become a wiki.

Wow, this is great. Thanks for doing this for the benefit of us all here!

We're now 5 days removed from the release of IOS 14 and I'm starting to get a little surprised I haven't had more app updates. A lot of them still say "Bug Fixes" but I'm waiting for apps like my sports apps (TheScore, NHL, MLB) and Pocketcasts to come up with something exciting for IOS 14. I know it takes some time, but like I said, we're past the first weekend and I thought I would have so many app updates by now.
Normally, developers have about 9-10 days from the time the GM is released to the release date of the public version of the major iOS update. This year they had less than a day. So, I'm sure a lot of them are still working. Plus, some are probably holding back to wait to see what the new iPhones bring. They don't want to have to re-do everything if there's some killer new feature that needs to be incorporated into their apps.

That wiki would eventually be hundreds of pages long. That doesn't make a lot of sense

I've had quite a few app updates supporting iOS 14, but I see what you're saying. Since GM came in less than 24 hours this year, I believe many developers are working right now into bringing those updates out to users.

I think it's OK as this is the shiny new toy and for the short term, it'll be good to track which apps have rolled out widgets.
For the longer term, say a month or so, this thread should go away as most popular apps will have this featured enabled and that will be the norm and not the exception.
