If it's taking weeks for people to receive their phones why does the O2 website say that the black 7 128 will deliver in one week. Or is that just a ruse?

eta: Just realised that it's the 7+ where the problem lies. I may not have to wait too long then! :D

I've not heard a thing. Though looks like other countries are starting to see movement in the 7+ stock

I've still not heard anything despite looking on the o2 site about tracking orders and it says that " all our customers have been contacted and told about the delays "! Really thinking about cancelling my order and getting a 7 from somewhere else cos I'm really pissed off about the lack of communication from o2.

From O2 this morning

Hello. We are sorry to say that we have not yet received your new iPhone.

We realise how frustrating this news will be but there's been a market-wide delay in receiving stock. We're working to get your new iPhone to you as soon as we can.

Check here for updates http://s.o2.co.uk/mEji2Bi3

We've prioritised your order and we'll be in touch on Tuesday at the latest.

Just spoken to O2. Slightly fuming now.

I preordered a 7+ 256gb MB on the 9th at about 1pm. Given date of 23rd.
I phoned on the 18th to double check. Given date of 23rd.
I phoned again on the 22nd to triple check. Given date of 23rd.
I just did a chat to quadruple check that it's definitely coming today. Given date of SIX WEEKS.
I phoned again to confirm what chat had just told me. Yep. 6 weeks.

I'm going to the Basingstoke Apple branch tomorrow and picking one up, and doing a SIM only deal with a different network.

F*ck O2.

Just had the very same message. Absolutely shambolic.

Going to be a quiet day again. It's basically carrot on a string at this point - keep telling people a new update is coming every few days. Live Chat still giving random answers of course, tried them this morning in the off-chance..

I've checked the account details and I can see your order is currently showing out of stock as we don't have sufficient stocks available for iPhone 7 plus. We're expecting a fresh stock for iPhone 7 plus in coming few Weeks and we'll be sending an email to you on with the latest delivery information for your order as soon as the order is back in stock.

To be honest im at the point where i just cant be arsed to call them anymore its just so frustrating speaking to CS who keep saying the same **** all the time, im resigned for it turning up at some point in October.

On one hand I really want to just tell them where to shove the order but i have now waited this long i dont want to lose place in the line, plus knowing my luck the second i cancel my order i would get a txt saying its ready to be sent. My one little order isnt going to bother O2.

Sadly I think this is the case. I read not long ago O2 has surpassed 25 million customers. Even if 100,000 of those leave because of this pre order fiasco it won't make a dent.

To be honest I feel its the same with all these large company's (phone, utilities, banks). Your just a number on a spreadsheet somewhere. Its only when you stop paying they suddenly take interest!

Put my order in this morning and just received confirmation of Monday delivery. Such a different experience compared to the 7+

I got a silver 256 7 plus from Apple Basingstoke yesterday. I'm staying on my airtime contract with O2 as, TBH, never had a problem with the service side. Cancelled my O2 upgrade this morning.

I honestly think this is the way to go. For me it actually worked out cheaper!

I think it works out about £100 cheaper as long as you were going to go with AC+ anyway.

For me it would have been 1019 (phone) + 119 (AC+) with O2 = 1138
With Apple it's 1038 all in

I'm on the 30GB for £35 a month from my 6s Plus upgrade last year, so was going to stick on that as SIM Only deals with O2 aren't great. However, the nice lady who took my cancellation said they have a special contract they can offer for retentions only, where you can get 25GB for £25 a month. She's calling me Monday to switch it over as my cancellation is still processing at the mo.

I went to an O2 store today to ask if any update on Sunday's forthcoming upgrade day when all the thousands of refresh customers will descend on their stores as O2 app just tells you to go on the 25th "to exchange your old iPhone for a new one"... of course that promise is dead in the water - although a chat person claimed to me a week ago that they would have stock for us! Now the shop assistant said "you will get them in December"!!! So much for them wishing to keep their loyal customers! He then just walked off whilst I was still talking to him! This year has been the worst with them and it is painful to read people with the companies have just walked in the shops and walked out with one. They had no explanation to what happens to the contract as we will end up paying 3 months more installments that we should have..

7+ Matte Black 256gb between 2-3pm on the 9th has now just shipped with UK Mail. Was supposed to be delivered next friday (I had the 2 week window) and had not recieved any text or communication so far. Looking good for every else then!

Obviously not your fault and hope you do get it when they say you will but that is a piss take for all the people that ordered before you ordered. Obviously o2 isn't releasing them in order of preorder times just when they feel like it.

Yeah I know I fully agree with what you are saying
[doublepost=1474655578][/doublepost]Is it possible to upgrade my delivery with UK Mail to saturday, does anyone know?

Wow cant quite believe my eyes. Just had txt/email from O2 saying my 256GB matt black 7 Plus has completed and will be delivered on 26/9. I have tracking number and have just had the txt from DPD with tracking info.

Not that I am complaining or anything but does seem quite ridiculous that it was only this morning I was told it would not be for another 5 weeks. Obviously a delivery has come in this afternoon. Just to think I was so close to telling O2 where to shove the order.

Congrats and yes if you're on a matte 128 7+ abandon all hope.

100%.

Absolute piss take to read that O2 are shipping out randomly, especially after those who ordered in the first hour on the 9th.

In all fairness I did place my order at 8.09 on the 9th. But I know how you feel as I have a been seeing posts from other people getting their phones who ordered after me. One thing is certain I shall not be ordering from O2 next year. Has to have been one of the most frustrating experiences I have had.

I've asked in store and to UK Customer service and they are all saying your anniversary date is taken from when you get your phone. That means anyone on this scheme is going to be a loooooooong way down the queue for next years phone.

I sold my 6S+ and paid off the phone payments when I realised what a pointless deal this is, which will annoy the exact early adopter customers it seems to be aimed at.
