Yes I thought he was doing that but did not see the attachments.
Actuallly, I don´t have them anymore, I thought I deleted the after install. But as I say, sure it was easy cause I dont´t remember any problem at all.

Since @******* deleted the drivers, after I install the card, will I be able to connect my MacBook (in Windows 10), plug an ethernet cable to it and download the driver using Windows update?
Yes. That´s what I did. First you have to look for the Vendor Id. Yo can find it in "Information" of the device.

Just one thing. You will have no sound if you make an EFI installation. Also, no brightness control. I mean in Windows 10, that I don´t use anymore. In windows 7, everything works like a charm.

If anyone receives an automatic email from us in the next few hours that says your account has been created, it's completely normal. We've had to transition to another eCommerce platform as Shopify was way too artificially limiting for our other products. :)

The email is sent automatically as a result of importing the waitlist subscribers for the next restock on wireless cards.

Hello!

I hadn't followed the thread since the early stages of experimentation last spring... I've signed up for the mailing list when these are back in stock but had a quick question that the current documentation page doesn't seem to address.

Is grinding down the case still necessary on A1278 models? I remember this was necessary early on in the development.

[EDIT]
I also forgot to ask what are the caveats of being on macOS Sierra (10.12.6) with this upgrade? The target machine is stuck using Sierra based on apps that can't support upgrading.

Thank you!

PCB batch came in and will be verified for quality before the hard soldering work begins.

No hardware modifications are required. Here is what is stated on the product page: "Installs easily without modifications!"

As far as Sierra, I'm not sure about that at all. Maybe @highvoltage12v will know more about that.

I’ve been looking for one of these for awhile!! I signed up for the wait list.. how long do you think the wait will be? Any dates?? @troop231 Pardon my excitement!!

Noob question:
Is a MacBook Pro 15 Retina mid 2012 considered a Unibody? Or are those just the previous non-Retina models?
TIA

The Retinas are not referred as unibody machines even though they inherited similar chassis design techniques.

Hello and thank you for the quick responses!

Based on this Apple Support page, the only Continuity features that won't work on macOS Sierra are Continuity Camera and Continuity Sketch and Continuity Markup... Everything else including Auto Unlock, Universal Clipboard and Handoff appear to be supported.

After I get the card installed, I'll report back on anything that I encounter specific to Sierra (though I'm willing to bet very few are on Sierra and not a minimum of High Sierra as the Early 2011 13" MacBook Pros will support up to High Sierra...)

Thanks again!

-b.

I'm not sure about the continuity compatibility, handoff, Apple watch unlock for Sierra.

Sierra should work fine.
