Oops... already ordered the SH version.
Is this now the right one?
or this? Reverse-direction 4pin

Any cable with a JST GH 1.25mm 4-pin connector on it should be fine to connect to the backplane header. (The other end of the cable depends on how you are connecting it to the Wi-Fi/BT card. If, for example, you solder the two data lines to the adapter card, same or reverse direction of the original cable makes no difference.)

There seems to have been some confusion over the connector on the bluetooth cable. After some digging, I've determined that the correct connector is a Molex 51021-0400. Not only are the measurements right, but the tiny markings match up as well.

Just finished the upgrade using the local338 kit https://www.local338shop.com
a bit nerve racking but I managed to get everything working with no problems.

wow, these connectors are small and it is tight getting in there!
i purchased the same kit form this shop almost a year ago, work just very fine, very happy of the Handoff stuffs :p,
and yeah, connectors are small, have to install it patiently & follow the instruction in details...

guys, maybe someone did an upgrade from the module Broadcom BCM94360CS?
The main (only) difference in the number of connectors on the module is three, and one combined. How to be in this case? Combine the antenna from the bluetooth and the third Wi-Fi antenna? I will appreciate the experience.

Yeah the cable is definitely toast if I need to put it back to stock. The only reason I did it was because I broke the bluetooth module anyways, if I ever did replace it, might as well just buy the cable with it heh. Its funny cause I had a hell of a time getting the antennas on the AirPort card, yet on the stock Bluetooth module, it wouldn't come off and ripped the whole terminal off the module instead heh.

Guess I should've said 'mini-PCIe' adapter? Its not a full size PCIe card, its the same style of mini airport adapter every one else in the thread is using. I bought the one labeled 'v3.0' all over Ebay with the little two wire terminal for the USB connection. Still might swap it for one I have to solder the USB wires too. The 602CDP card doesn't sit flat in the adapter because of the USB terminal. It works fine, but I bet it wouldn't take much pressure to snap the card off in the slot.

I encountered the same issue installing a 602CDP card into a v3.0 mPCIE adapter card in my 4,1->5,1. The 602CDP pushes against the soldered-on D+/D- connector on the mPCIE adaptor. It works OK but the 602CDP rests at an angle in the slot up against the connector. I would much prefer an adapter that can fit the 602CDP better, but could not find anything online to suggest that such a thing exists.

A follow-up on the bluetooth header connector: I can confirm that it's a perfect match. I'm using it with my hub assembly. The connector seems readily available only in white. While absolutely unnecessary, but satisfying for cMP purists, the connector can be made to exactly match the original black one. The connector is made of polyester and can be easily dyed black (I used Rit DyeMore). Because the dye penetrates the plastic, the color survives abrasion. In the picture below, the black connector was originally white just like the one next to it!

Totally off-topic from the thread, sorry.

I always wanted to dye some plastic parts and never got it working. Did you had to heat the dye? Seems some types of plastic dye need a more elaborate process with water treatment and some other component to fix the colour. Did you had to to anything?

I just followed the instructions that came with the dye. Nothing special really. First, I heated water with salt and added the dye. Then, I suspended the connector with some string so that it would stay in the middle of the mixture and not touch the hot bottom of the pot and stirred for 20 minutes. After, I left the connector in the mixture for two hours just to make sure that the color would take. The entire time, I kept the mixture at around 80°C. Finally, I rinsed the connector in cold water. It had become perfectly black! The dye is designed for synthetic fabrics, and since the connector is made of polyester, I think that's why the result was so good.

Ive been looking at this one for a replacement, the only catch is you have to solder your data connecter to the board yourself.

https://www.ebay.com/itm/Wireless-W...e=STRK:MEBIDX:IT&_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649

Im starting to wonder if the card not sitting flat is causing some issues over here. Both my wifi and bluetooth work great 98% of the time, but are getting really flaky at other times. Wifi will just stop responding to anything (seems it really hates DNS at times), and my bluetooth drops out all day long. I have to keep the Logitech USB dongle plugged in and be ready for it to stop responding, then I can switch the mouse to the receiver instead of bluetooth. BT usually fixes itself after about 20 minutes and will let me reconnect.

My solder skills are weak...luckily the card is holding out fine. If it does fail I can fall back on the old one, but wish I could find something that can accommodate it a little better.

guys, please help. I have a Wi-Fi module from imac 2017 BCM943602CPD, while the adapter is going (for installation in my native place) I inserted the module into the PCIe adapter and inserted the PCIe into the second slot (next to the ssd blade), pulled out the original Wi-Fi module and native BT. (I connected it according to the instructions from page 30). BT works and there is no Wi-Fi.
or Wi-Fi will not work through the PSI adapter?
Tell me please

I believe you may have to run wires from the D-/D+ on your PCIe card to the original BT USB connector (just like the original BT card has to, and which you also have to do when installing a Mini PCIe WiFi/BT combo card). This can be come a little messy as you'll have to find a way to run the wiring through to the MoBo at the rear of the where the CPU tray slides. Not impossible, but maybe not as easy as using the mini-PCIe option.

I have wires connected to USB D+/D-, - I wrote about this (otherwise BT would not work for me)
just BT works for me

I have the same exact issue as you. Picked up a bcm94360cs from ebay and a pcie-e adapter with it. BT is working fine, although signal is weaker than original. No wifi should up in system preference or anywhere. I wonder if I need to disable SIP first. I have nvidia card and 10.13.6, planning to upgrade to 10.14 once I got all the parts to upgrade.

I do not understand the problem in the module or in the adapter or in the system. but I still have a module BСM94331СD - it also does not have WiFi and BT works))). case or in a bunch of PCIe adapter or in the system

I upgraded my 5,1 with the BCM94352HMB quite a while back and have full Continuity after adding the Mac pro board ID to the IOBlutooth framework. The latter is needed for Watch Unlock to work.
It is NOT enough to get Watch Unlock on Catalina. The system tried but cannot locate the Watch.
