All steel watches, from the Apple Watch to an $8K Rolex and beyond, scratch and ding up relatively easily. It's steel, and it's no big deal.
I just want an answer, I mean is it so we can standout as oooobbhh look at the red dot, they have a cellular watch.
I don’t get it, hate is not what I feel, I feel why?
I guess to me it doesn’t matter that much, but I don’t get it.
I'm guessing people will be flocking to this site to buy stickers to cover it up. https://shop.watchdots.com/
Hah, you saved me the trouble of finding an answer to the question of how best to punch the right size circle. Antique white should do the trick for me.
Too bad the non-LTE model doesn't offer stainless/sapphire.
I wish a non-LTE SS was an option.
They didnt even explain why its there lol
Since it turns out the front glass is where the antenna is
Very strange,
At least it wasn’t a flashing red LED to indicate an incoming call.
Yes its there to differentiate the two models and show that you have a cellular version of the apple watch.I just want an answer, I mean is it so we can standout as oooobbhh look at the red dot, they have a cellular watch.
So do I as that's what I really need, but from what I've seen so far it's fine to just not activate the service and use it just like we do now.
Is still a bit annoying to have to pay for the hardware, but at least we can change our minds later without having to exchange the watch.
I would consider aluminum if I didn't have several bands meant for stainless (including the pricey Milanese Loop I got with my watch back in 2015) and if the aluminum watches had sapphire crystals and backs.
Well you can always get a set of WatchDots, they have lots of colors to use on the Stem and also the side switch.

Looks like they may need to come out with an aluminum silver and space grey dot...for those who want cover up the red dot and keep it 'neutral'.
Not sure if they'd be properly match the finishes very accurately (especially SS), and may end up looking even worse.
Team? Well the buck stops with the Chief Design Officer. But then it's increasingly evident Jony Ive lost his way when he lost the one man that brought out the best in him and kept a very tight rein on the worst. It's hideous, out of place, and distracting. Just like the notch on the iPhone X. The design team has lost their minds.
