It’s awful looking, it won’t match anything! Should’ve gone with something more neutral

But it’s Apple, so there’s nothing we can do or say because what’s a few people’s voices over millions of sales

I’ll still be buying one, because it’s not a dealbreaker, and as I said it’s Apple, saying “no I’m not gonna buy one that’s hideous” will do nothing

Heh...I'm thinking I'll get one for the opposite reason...I'm notorious for forgetting my phone. :) Really wish they would have done a notification for leaving your phone behind. (Nope, no-one's done an app that works worth a damn).

With all the people walking around wearing the most electric, vibrant shoe color combos on the planet, I am surprised that anyone would really care about a single, red dot on a phone.

:D
When I was a teenager, I brought my vegetarian girlfriend home for dinner with the family. My mother offered her a chicken caesar salad, and when she said, "I don't eat meat," my mother replied, "Oh, it's just a little meat."

When I spend hundreds of dollars on a Space Black watch, I don't want "just a little red".

So, you either buy one and cover it or you buy a Series 2. I mean, it's not that complicated, really. Eating meat when you're a vegetarian and having to suffer through the torture of accepting that there's a small, red dot at the end of the crown of your AW that you will rarely EVER see aren't really in the same ballpark.

I think it looks great on a stainless steel w/ white sport band and the ceramic version. I can certainly see some people upset that it clashes with some band combinations.

It reminds me of the original AW that Tim Cook was wearing. SS. White Sport Band. Red dot.

It's part of why those places that sell dots to stick on were selling them.
I remember back then I wanted the red dot in my watch. I wanted the gold edition with red leather band and red dot when I first saw it. Lol, I had no idea it was going to be a real gold case and cost so much. I thought it would be just a gold color like my Seiko. I'm neutral on the dot now, but think it will look nice on the silver and white Nike model I picked out.

Agreed. I got the SS with WSB and I think it'll look nice. I really don't have any bands that will be awful with the red dot. I mean, white, black, brown, tan... mine are mostly all some variation on those colors....Milanese... the Pride band... a red band... I think the only one I have that might clash a little is the lilac sport band, but really? Just not a big deal. At all.

I'm not a fan, but "hideous monstrosity"? That's quite a term that should probably be reserved for presidential administrations and mothers-in-law.

Yes, it's hideous "design" and whoever signed off on it as the solution to visible product differentiation, ought to be animated as a poo emoji, stripped of his knighthood and sent economy class back to the UK.
Same employee who thinks AirPods look good???

Well, bunnicula, i'm not surprised you like the white with red dots given your photo.

I laughed aloud. ;)

I'd have to see it in person first.
I like the black dot on my SS, red - maybe it's a little loud..

I've ordered the SS with white sport band and think the red looks quite nice. Can't wait to finally get it!
