Ordered mine through Walmart for the Chase Freedom 5% back promo and they aren’t delivering until Thursday, which is fine since it gives time for me to read reviews and cancel if they aren’t good.

My Apple store app still shows preparing to ship. It probably won’t “ship” until late Monday into Tuesday. My AirPods are in Kentucky now, getting closer to SF!

DPD text to confirm delivery tomorrow. Booked my 1 hr slot. Store still shows preparing to ship, however I’ve had stuff ship at midnight and arrive next day so not sweating at all.

UPS tracking showed up in the app this morning for delivery on Tuesday. Got the email from Apple an hour later. Looks like mine are sitting in Tennessee. I'm anxious about the new fit...the old AirPods have always fit my ears very well, so there's a chance I'll have to return the gen 3 version if they are too different.

So I canceled my Walmart preorder and ordered with Simply Mac. They had a special this weekend for $20 off and I like not paying retail for stuff. Turns out, they don't expect to ship them until mid to late November.

As expected apple is shipping these next day air. Got my notification at 6am (et) this morning.

Looking forward to seeing how these fit versus the old design. I’m hoping these fit the same or better and give us better audio since not so much sound will leak naturally. But I do hope that passive ambient sound we had because of the design is still there. I love never having to take either of my pods out when I’m discing, biking, running, etc.

I got the shipping e-mail from Apple but strangely the Apple App still shows “Preparing to Ship.” Maybe it will update when the package is picked up.

I pre-ordered them from BestBuy and it shows preparing to ship tomorrow. Hopefully they’ll ship them on time. And some rewards are also welcome. I think I’ll get another AW band with the rewards.
