I ordered mine at 3:08pm central and I'm still at In Progress.. I mean I'm in Texas so it's possible I'll get them tomorrow still.
FedEx out of Fort Worth for me as well . . . .

Thanks for mentioning AT&T - I only ordered around 6pm Mountain time and they are now Preparing to Ship!
Sort of funny that my 1st pair came from Best Buy and my Wife's pair will come from AT&T. I seem to rarely get these things from the Apple Store (direct) much anymore...somewhat oddly.

My USPS tracking is now live, showing the same Fort Worth origin as everyone else. I'm 1,500 miles from Fort Worth, but the tracker is already at 8:00 p.m. on the progress dial, which implies delivery tomorrow or Saturday. (Unlike with FedEx and UPS, there's no estimated arrival date listed anywhere.)
Thanks again to the OP for posting about this. I checked AT&T at maybe 1:00 or 2:00 a.m. today and it yielded an error. They didn't even have a placeholder page for AirPods.

Detailed a few posts above. My order from yesterday morning shipped last night by USPS Priority from Fort Worth with a tracking number. USPS doesn't give estimated arrival dates other than a general "1 to 3 days" for anything sent Priority, but it looks like I'll have mine tomorrow or, more likely, Saturday.

I chatted with an agent before ordering and she stated that it will ship the same day the order is placed.
FYI...Ordered on yesterday (Thurs) @ 2:45pm CST chose Standard Shipping. Received USPS tracking number 4 hours later @ 6:42pm!! No Est delivery date yet but item has arrived at USPS facility in Fort Worth, TX.
I ordered mine about thirty minutes after with expedited shipping and I'm still at In Progress... this is frustrating to say the least

That may be true, but "due today" in this context means the amount "due today" - the alternative being spread across your monthly bill, if you're an AT&T customer.
I placed an order through ATT last night. Chatted online with the rep who said they'd be delivered next week, although there was no indication at any point of that fact before or after the checkout process.
It looks like someone posted about it in the slickdeals forum around 6PM last night, so I'm sure all those re-sellers wiped out the initial stock if there were any left by then.
