Gary wrote me an email and asked me. I like the Metal Pulls more but I didn`t wanted to wait any longer and I can live with them.
I received my blue one last Monday. So you can see how the look.

This looks perfect. Can you please post an image with the headphones in it? So we have an idea of what level of telescoping of arms it accommodates.

I haven't been contacted by Waterfield (I'm on the ships by 19 March batch 14). If I'm honest I would prefer the metal zip pulls if I were contacted, but I hasten to add there is nothing wrong with the nylon zippers (it's just personal preference).
I see from your pictures that you can have the adjuster on the headphones let out a bit and they still fit in the case. That's really good to know as the current headphones and third party case I have currently, only allows me to fit them in the case if I fully close the adjuster.

The reason I asked was, I have one on order (batch 14) and I prefer the metal zip pulls, and wanted to make sure they contacted prior to shipment to ask your preference.
Literally just got an email from Waterfield, mentioning about the zip pulls and asking me which I prefer on my order. I told them I prefer the metal ones.
Waterfield did mention that they could do the metal pulls, but the case would not ship until the last week in March (the batch 14 that my order is in was showing ships by 19 March, so not a massive amount of time longer).
Yes. I'm in week #14 and just got the email. Like others I got the feeling they were pushing the nylon pulls which I detest. What really miffs me is that they have already charged my credit card and this late in the process can't even tell me for sure that I will receive my case by the end of the month (even with the expedited FedEx shipping I am paying for).
I'm seriously thinking about canceling my order and buying a far less pricey case--one that I do not have to wait any longer for. Does anyone have any feedback about this case on Amazon? I am also in Batch #14 and just got the query about changing the pulls. I decided to wait for the metal pulls but if they delay any longer than the end of the month, I will cancel my order and go with a less expensive case.Thanks for the reply, appreciate it

I knew if I choose the nylon pulls (to speed up delivery) I would have regretted it. I'm pretty confident they will ship by the end of the month.
By all accounts the Fedex Express is very speedy. A guy I was talking to over on Reddit, got his in two days, and that was to the UK.
Oh, I'm not concerned about how long it will take once they ship. My concern is whether their supplier can be relied upon to get them the metal pulls as promised on or about March 23. But, for now, I'm going to sit tight and wait on the metal pulls.
Yeah I've literally just checked my emails now, and I see I've received another email from Waterfield. This one was from Gary. He mentions:
"The factory is working on our metal zipper pulls after their long New Years break. Not sure on exact timing when we will receive them but should have the new zipper pulls around March 23rd... and then we need to get them into production- so you should have before the end of the month"
Not really that concerned as I only ordered on the 23 February, and I figured around a five or so week wait until it arrived.
