Just received my shipment notification from Best Buy. No tracking number yet, but it does say it's going via USPS. 
That's insane—I'm very close to the Bronx but am getting one from Kansas! And mine says "First-Class Package" under "Product".
They just sent me an email saying they’re working hard on getting my order completed but can give an estimate ship date at this time.
Did they sell too many and can’t fulfill all orders?
@Ovo647 I ordered space grey and got the "shipped" email from Verizon and tracking 3 hours ago. I ordered on 12/10 and shipping to NYC. Coming Fedex from PA and showing Friday 12/18 delivery. With the Nor'easter coming....we''ll see ❄️

Seen some people have their ordered cancelled or told that the item was no longer in stock. A bit worried, starting to regret cancelling my Best Buy Order that was initially a backordered purchase lol.

Weirdest thing ever happened to me ( I am sure it happens on other items to people too). I order the silver and they came in yesterday. I let me wife listen to them and she loved them. I tried to be the nice guy and give her my QC35's and she was not impressed. Well today I come home and she is all excited and thanking me for her AirPods Max and she was sorry she opened them and ruined the surprise. Well I was just as surprised as her as I only ordered one pair!! The tracking number is the same on both boxes so obviously someone messed up at the warehouse. She is disappointed but I can't keep them as my ethics won't allow me to. Plus I would be worried one of my coworkers would bust in my door as receiving property that is not yours is a felony in our state with how much these cost. I sent an email to see how they want me to handle. The wife is hoping they say keep them but I am very doubtful.
Think they already sold out. I would keep trying though - sometimes they go in/out of stock.

Ditto here. Odd thing is they hit my credit card last night for the amount (around 6 PM Tuesday). It is now a pending transaction but not cleared. When I look, order status is "We're working on your order.". At time of order AT&T said 2-3 day delivery. No idea what is going on.
I ordered on launch day 5 minutes after they were announced.. but now the package is stuck in Chep Lap Kok, Hong Kong since 12/13 with no updates... feels like it’s going to be like the delays experienced in November 21 where packages sat for ten days due to a covid outbreak in Shanghai. Curious why some people’s orders ship from US and others China for these?
F to those with Best Buy orders (extra Fs to those whose pods aren't even shipped yet) shipped via USPS, because it seems like there are massive delays right now. I doubt I'd get it by this Saturday liked the estimate says. Did anyone's order move at all along with the tracking system?
