Such a shame :( I'm IN Concord and they won't deliver until Tues!!

I'm about 20 minutes from there and mine says the same. I'm really hopeful that changes early tomorrow morning and they end up being delivered.

Damn, I guess I'll be getting the not due for delivery until Tuesday too whenever it arrives at the local facility. Kind of weird that they would hold it until then since stores are getting them tomorrow. It's not like Tuesday is an official release date.

Mine are finally in transit with UPS with the estimated delivery still for Tuesday. I'm hoping they come tomorrow since they're not far from where I live (as in less than half an hour)

same! mine are currently at a Fedex facility only about 45 minutes away from where I live... they've bounced around facilities so i am hoping for a monday delivery.

Memphis is FedEx's air hub (like Louisville for UPS). It's to be expected.
Interestingly, mine went from Ontario, CA to Indianapolis instead of Memphis, and have now arrived at the Seattle sort facility (maybe they'll be delivered tomorrow!!!)

FedEx said the Shipper did not pay to have them delivered on the 19th so they won't do it. It would be like giving one day shipping at a two day price.

I've had experiences where they have delivered things early if the item arrived early, in this same sort of situation. I think it sort of depends on what their loads look like when they load the trucks. I would think that this time of year, if they CAN get stuff out early, they will, because it reduces the load the next day. This coming week is brutal for Fed Ex, so if they can balance their loads, I think they will. In my case, I'm having them delivered to work, and Fed Ex has daily deliveries to our office, so I'm hopeful that I'll get them early.

Just talked with FedEx again. They will not be delivering them early because the seller (Apple) doesn't want them to. They say if you have any questions to contact the seller.

Mine just left the FedEx hub in TN, hopefully on its way to Phoenix where I am. It sure seems likely they will be delivered Monday, although I understand why FedEx might hold it until Tuesday since Apple sent them by way of 2-day shipping. For FedEx to deliver a day early undermines the premium they charge for next day delivery. What might play in our favor is the time of year right now, with the huge volume they are being hit with for Christmas. I would think if it's in your city by morning, they would deliver it that day to prevent a backlog from developing. At least there is hope.

I just can't wait to abandon this tangled mess that I'm confronted with every time I want to use earbuds.

DHL here, scheduled for tomorrow. No delivery window, can be any time, but I can't stay home all day long. Also can't change a DHL delivery to a drop-off point (if at all) before the first missed delivery, so it'll be Wednesday at the earliest if things work out... Fingers crossed!

Yup, I will too. If you have an Apple Watch, it helps a little because there is a Now Playing app that controls the volume and advances the track. But that can be improved if they made a complication for it that can be put on a watch face next or next to the control panel like it in on an iOS device. I just don't have confidence double tapping to access Siri and saying "lower volume" will be convenient. Fortunately, adjusting the volume is the only major drawback I foresee with using the Airpods. Hopefully I'll receive them tomorrow and can find out for sure.

just delivered.. the case is super portable (very small) and the things won't fall off even if I jump up and down or swing my head left and right forcefully (which you won't be doing anyway). The old EarPods had perfect fit for me too though and these are exactly the same. Good patience to anyone waiting, it's worth it.
[doublepost=1482143480][/doublepost]Just to add some more information - not something you didn't necessarily already know. They charge seriously fast. They came at 35/40% and charged for 7 mins to 99%. Volume adjusting is the only thing I can see being "meh" but who cares :D
They also don't even show when wearing a beanie/hat and the microphone works perfectly through the beanie although they are fully covered (tested on a phone call and quality was reported perfect from the other side).

Same here (but with UPS in Canada). I think it'll be updated early Monday morning because this shipment wasn't marked for weekend delivery.
It's Monday already and DHL still has no info for the tracking number. Starting to get worried, should be delivered tomorrow!
