Yep, and it's too late to call so I opened a chat, the representive said they don't see any order info on their end, I'll have to call in and verify

Yes, I do. Hopefully it goes through. Ordering AirPods is driving me insane, lol. Decided not to cancel my Best Buy order from 1/19 just in case.

Got mine this week, ordered in December. My girlfriend love them! I subtly asked her if her regular earpods fell off sometimes before ordering, and it never happened to her. They don't hold in my ears (neither do the earpods), but I have a pair of Sennheiser Momentum 2.0 for wireless listening, so I'm good!
Random fact: The Airpods box is the exact same dimensions as the Apple TV 4 (minus the rounded corners), I was putting the boxes in storage and noticed that hehe.

Thanks God I did not cancel my Best Buy order, am chatting with Verizon right now and they cancelled my order and have no idea why.
To anyone reading this thread looking for the best way to order AirPods and get them quickly (as I originally did), don't bother gambling placing orders with all these companies if you live in reasonable distance of an Apple Store. Go to istocknow.com , and sign up for as many stores as you're willing to drive to.
Obviously, in Los Angeles this was easier than it would be for most. I have like 10 stores within a $15 Lyft ride, but even if you have to drive, it's worth it if you're eager. When you get the alert, check the site. If you're quick, they should be available for in store pickup. Order and pay online, they reserve your AirPods, you go get them. I spent weeks chasing the fastest way, almost spent $100 extra to just get them from some scalper on eBay, and finally istocknow came through. Massive waves have been hitting the US this week, indicating they're finally sorting out stock.
Hope this helps someone scrolling through all these tales of woe and trying to take a gamble with carriers and Best Buy like I was.

I'm all the way on the east coast, but PREACH...TESTIFY!! @iStockNow for stock notifications for those close to an Apple Store is the way to go!
Yup. Which means they opened ordering up with no stock. My order from 1/31 is still backordered. The reps are apologetic but it's just BS. Going forward no one should trust the carriers. I have like $600 in pending charges from this crap on my card.
Also got mine today from Apple Store brea mall thanks to @iStockNow.
