AirPods, Order/Shipping Thread

I am in the US and havent entered PFS but with a delivery date of Wednesday the 21st and my card was charged this morning. I honestly am happy to see someone other than the US get their apple products first for once. But, I am also curious why we in the US with early / "launch day" shipments are getting charged now. I hope they deliver early because christmas week is super busy for UPS and Apple is already charging now for mid week deliveries. Looks positive to me and I hope they ship out by Sunday at the latest regardless of 2 day shipping.

UK, Preparing for Dispatch!

Interesting that they've removed the student discount from the AirPods sales page (but, rightly so, not from my order).

Lots have already shipping in Australia and New Zealand and they shipped from locally.

Given the short time between shipment and expected arrival it appears all the first batch orders are shipping from locally.

UK, London here. Purchased around 6.30pm on day of announcement. Preparing for dispatch for 19 Dec delivery.

Ordered at 4:50pm (in UK) on Tuesday, current status 'preparing for dispatch', hopefully they will arrive on Monday.
 
my US order just flipped to Preparing for Shipment. I really think these are going to come on 12/19 instead of 12/21 for US customers.

Mine also has just changed to Preparing for Shipment with Delivery by 21st of December. (US)

This happened to me a few times. My shipping date was even delayed. But now everything reverted and I got a shipping confirmation :)
 
Got an email an hour ago that they're shipped! I'm hopeful they'll arrive on Monday, a day earlier than expected. UPS doesn't deliver Saturdays right?
