Mine is still showing PFS. I ordered around 8AM EST with a Dec 21st delivery. I live in Florida.
Mine is still PFS and im in Central Time Zone. I'm glad they are using fedex but I hope fedex delivers like UPS. Also, I hate that UPS MyChoice and FedEx Delivery Manager don't understand that some people like packages delivered to work.
They should allow you to add a "work' address but apparently thats too much. Oh well, ill patiently wait for it to show up via track by reference or ship.

I ordered mine on Dec 13 and was given a delivery estimate of Dec 19. Last night, the status changed to "Preparing for Shipment". I'm located in the UK.
It's still stuck there. It says it will be delivered through "Standard Shipping" so I hope it ships today so it reaches in time on Monday Dec 19.
Also, I noticed there was an authorisation hold on my debit card, which has disappeared today, although the money hasn't been taken out. Does it usually happen? Do they remove the hold, then charge the money and then ship?

Yes that's normal
They put a hold on the card just to see if it's there then goes back and will go out again when it's dispatched
My 2 orders also showing Preparing for Shipment. Still set for Dec. 21 delivery.

i hate how apple handles billing your card, just take my ****ing money when I preorder, I wouldn't preorder if I didn't have the money and I don't want to have to constantly piss around ensuring money is always in my regular account just for my preorder! (i have a very fluid current account as most is kept elsewhere!).
Just found shipping information for my two orders using my phone number under tracking by reference on FedEx Delivery Manager. Both orders are shipping today 12/17 and arriving Tuesday 12/20, shipping out of Rialto, California.
Great tip! I just looked and found my shipment on the FedEx site too. Shows it scheduled for delivery a day early on Tuesday, Dec 20th, rather than the 21st. I'm in Phoenix, AZ and the order was placed at 7:35 AM MST on Dec 13th. The Apple order status says PFS. Mine are also coming from Rialto, CA.
My order just flipped to shipped (USA, CT, 9:30 EST order).
Can't seem to get track by reference to work on FedEx or UPS...here's hoping I get them earlier than Wednesday, as was originally estimated!
EDIT: Just got my shipping confirmation email, with FedEx tracking number. Tracking doesn't seem to be working on the FedEx page right now, but hopefully soon!)

Same here, arriving a day early. Doesn't have far to go. I'm in Los Angeles. Ordered right as it went live at 6 am PST.
On the FedEx site, make sure you are tracking by Reference and not Tracking Number. You also have to select the United States as the country and enter your zip code.
