Mine wasn't an expedited shipment. The order showed standard shipping. Went out quickly so I don't think the expedited orders are first priority.

Of course my tracking number still says they're waiting to receive the item... has yours actually moved?
Just updated...ordered mine through AT&T this morning at 10:36 am and just received a notification that it has been shipped 8:56 pm (same day service)
Update:...out for delivery today...BOOM! (Ordered Friday, delivered Monday)

I ordered from B&H Photo & Video and they are apparently backordered. Has anyone had the experience of a backorder from B&H?

Ordered (expedited shipping) this morning on att.com after receiving the istock notification (around 930am CST). Just received an email from ATT that it's shipped and the tracking info is showing it should be delivered tomorrow.

Since I was successful in ordering through AT&T, my brother ordered a pair this morning through AT&T and they also shipped out this evening (same day)
Got notified by istocknow that Walmart online has AirPods now. Best Buy emailed me I can place on order for AirPods now. I have my AirPods. It just thought I would pass along this information. I was searching for AirPods for my daughter but she decided to go with Beats x at the Sacramento Apple Store yesterday.

Well. Walmart is selling them for $299, Macy's said that it doesn't exist on their site, and Target says unavailable to ship.
They sell out very quick. Walmart has been up and down since yesterday, could catch it.

Think O2 (UK) may be as well. Had about 10 email notifications from you this am but you can't complete checkout. Alternates between in stock and out of stock.

Damn, it's backordered. It was too good to be true. They will ship when they have it available. I asked in the live chat and if it takes too long (I'll wait a couple of weeks) they say I can cancel and get a refund.

What the hell is happening with this product, do Apple sells them or not? We are already in March and still having the same problems?
Is this done on purpose based on the scarcity principle or Apple really sucks? I read the reports on why the Airpods had a delay, but I don't think I ever saw something so unavailable as these headphones, even rare items aren't that hard to buy.
