AirPods, Order/Shipping Thread

After some constant checking with At&t's god awful stock situation I gave up. Then just when I gave up, my friend who works at an Apple store in another state texted me in the morning and said they have them in stock. So I bought 3. And will be getting them Tuesday! THANK GOD!

I ordered from ATT late Monday night and they were delivered yesterday. A total of about 63 hours from ordering to my front door. Shipped from Ft Worth delivered in Boise, ID.
Took them to the gym last night and using them now in my house. Loving these things so far.

Yep..grabbed 2 this morning. Appears to be shipping March 6 - 8th. Maybe they will come sooner. Woohoo

I asked to refund my order. B&H now says the item will be available in May 9, 2017.

I hope they refund the 159 USD + the 1 dollar charged days after, for verification purposes.

I won't buy this item ever again. Good luck for those who are still trying. I also hope my credit card doesn't charge me for the operation (IOF, 6.38%), that this is refunded, too.

Thanks! Yeah I will have to open the box and take out the return label and mail it right back :/

I also ended up with two sets when my Apple order finally arrived. I sold them on eBay for $299. (Also turned out that the purchase was fraudulent--that is, the PayPal account was apparently stolen despite the confirmed address. Luckily, I followed the seller protection requirements exactly, and PayPal sided with me pretty quickly--despite the horror stories out there regarding eBay and PayPal.)

Well, after listening to the airpods for a couple of days, I'd like to say they are brilliant...much better than I expected. They fit my ears, which are quite small, perfectly. They hands down beat my Bragi Dash, which are only going to be used if I need the waterproof abilities! Sound is clear, connection between my iphone and watch is seamless, bass is excellent, volume is more than I need, No Bluetooth drop-outs.
Apple have created something very special here.

I wasn't able to pick some up right now but monitored the stock for pick up over the last weeks and 1 or 2 tines a week they are for a few hours in at least one, most of the time both stores in Hamburg in stock.

I now decided to buy them and are looking forward to be cable-free, I'll be using them mostly for podcasts and phone calls.

To get to my question: If i reserve them for pick-up, do I get a specific date and time or is is just like 'you got x days to pick them up'?
If it's not a fixed time, how long do they store the reserved & paid airpods for me?

Couldn't find anytthing about this and don't really know how i can rearrange my calendar to drive to hamburg when I purchase them as I don't know when they come in stock.

Who's still in the hunt ?

Target has them as of now, shouldn't last.
We added BB retail stores monitoring for more options, getting close to 10k stores monitored for AirPods, crazy.

In the UK, Argos has proven to be an interesting option with regular refills.

I'm still searching. Both of my local Apple stores here in Raleigh/Durham have been out of stock for more than 3 weeks. I've also had 2 failed AT&T orders.

I just finally ordered mine. I was reading an article this weekend and they pointed out several ways to find them. I used istocknow.com. I have seen them come up on that site on Target.com and AT&T Online Store. Keep watching that site and you will get them quickly. I should have mine before the end of the week from AT&T.

Any ordered Airpods from Best Buy recently? Wondering if their ship times are holding close to what their website states. Right now says they are shipping 4/21.

Order from AT&T. They're in stock. Mine came 2 days after I ordered with standard shipping.

They've been available all day. Not sure if they're overselling but it's rare to see them be available for so long. Take a risk if you really want them

Nvm it looks like AT&T is cancelling your order if you're not a customer of theirs, again..
