I ended up doing the foam tips from one old foam tips I had for other headphones from the past and inserting the tips the Airpods Pro come with through the hole and covering them and they are 1000x better than the Charjens. I am honestly shocked how anyone could like the Charjens with the poor quality.

Of course I contacted them for a return and have heard nothing. I may do a chargeback if I don't hear from them.

Don't know if this will help some people but this video shows how I have always inserted IEM's.

When I purchased my C5 SERIES 2 IEM BY BOWERS & WILKINS many years ago they came with instructions to lift the ear up then "twist" them in. So by squeezing the tip first then following the video demo hopefully it will help get a proper seal. I have been using this method successfully for years even when not using memory foam tips and have always been able to get a great seal. Hope this helps some people.

The Comply pre-order page is up, starts 4/27.

Good news. That said, no mention of mesh filter and weird that a couple the pictures make the surface of those tips look much smoother than the usual Comply foam

Yeah I noticed that but when you zoom into this image you can see the roughness.

I've tried a bunch of different foam tips and honestly I agree. None of the commercial foam tips even come close to the isolation and fit of the DIY hybrid foam/silicone tips. But frustratingly they don't fit well in the Apple case...

I have no problem closing the case with medium Comply foam (TrueGrip Pro, not the forthcoming AirPods Pro specific version) under the Apple silicone and others have said the same about Symbio

Comply’s tips are available for preorder now. $24.99 for three pair, but they’re not expected to be ready until May 31st.

Haven't tried these yet but Zeos seems to be stoked with them.
Dekoni tips, seem to have filters too.
Do you reckon these or the comply tips? Not sure on which ones to order now having seen these now. Which ones do you think will be better?

I have never been able to get apple earphones to fit properly. I read the forums including the ones about memory foam. I didn't want to spend more money, so instead I modified some of the hacks I read. Now, not only do my AirPods pros fit snuggly and comfortably, but noise cancellation works great! With the poor fit of the stock silicone buds I wasn't able to notice ANY noise cancellation. In fact, I thought the AirPods were defective, based upon the reviews that spoke of how GREAT the noise cancellation feature was.

My modification was to use the yellow foam earplugs that many gyms give out for free. I think they cost about 25 cents each. The procedure is as follows:

1. Cut a 3mm piece off of the foam earplug
2. Punch out a small circle in the middle, about 2-3mm. If you can't find a punch, just use a hobby knife or scalpel, it doesn't need to be perfect. I added a slight bevel to the cut, to better fit around the tube
3. Remove about 15 or 20 degrees from your donut with two sharp cuts
4. Fold the small stock silicone earpieces up, to expose the actual tube that transmits the sound
5. Place the donut around the tube near the top
6. Fold the silicone down over the yellow foam

The first one took about 30 minutes to figure things out, the second one took about 5 minutes. So easy! The small foam is essentially invisible and does not interfere with putting the AirPods in their case, whatsoever. I included 2 pics of my first attempt, which was too wide and didn't fit. You really don't need much foam to make it work. You can do this!
So far seem very durable.

Want to give a shout-out to @bcme....this worked very well. Tried two “versions” before I got it the way I wanted. Thank you!

Returned my Pros because of the awful tips. Love Comply, they should be a massive improvement.

The Comply tips do have the mesh cover, as per the comments.

Thanks for your comment! These tips do in fact come with the guard. We will be updating our marketing materials shortly. Sorry for the confusion!

Ordered mine. My CharJens still haven't arrived, starting to worry they've got lost.

got CharJens, they were horrible... threw them right back in the box. got them directly form the CharJens site so no idea if I can return them.

I don't have a lot of experience with memory phone ear tips, so what do you guys not like about the CharJens? I have mine and they seem to work well - they're comfortable in my ears and don't start sliding out like the stock silicone tips. I did order the Comply tips since everyone says great things about them, but I'm curious as to what you find lacking in the CharJens.

Has anyone from the UK received the Charjen's yet? I get worldwide delivery times but have had several items arrive from China in less time so concerned these have got lost in the post.
