Wonder if it will work in a ridge wallet

I’m sure it will…it just takes up the space of 6 CREDIT CARDS. That’s REALLY thick. I’m hoping that a silicone holder with a sticker on the back will work on the outside for the time being.

Here’s mine. Got the holder from Etsy for $12…a 3D print. Goes in my Ridge Wallet well. Just adds bulk. Not too bad, though.

Well, you must live in a city/country where you never need any kind of identification whatsoever and 100% of all vendors no matter how big or small take contactless payments. I would love to live in a fantasyland where all I ever had to have with me is my cellular Apple Watch, but that’s just not reality. If I get pulled over for speeding and the officer asks for license and registration, do I just say, “Sorry officer, you need to join the 21st century like I have. Nobody carries a wallet anymore!”

I see your point about identification, but in the UK all vendors (even street vendors) and public transport accept contactless and Apple Pay.

There has been a ton of times I just leave home with my iPhone and Apple Watch, sometimes even just the Watch because, as people in London know, driving is no fun here. So I have actually never had to show any form of ID to the police or anyone. Except if I go to buy alcohol lol.

I ordered this a few days ago and plan to give it a whirl. It's only $12 so worth a try. I haven't received it yet. Instead of using the cheap plastic keychain that attaches to the wallet insert, I might find a nice leather keychain thing to attach to the wallet insert instead. I also may get the Snapback Slim Air wallet in the post above if I get tired of having the Airtag hanging off (which I probably will :)).

I have a very slim wallet so getting one of the other solutions that I have seen in this post would be way too thick. That Ridge wallet is extremely thick.

The correct answer is don't carry a wallet around, that is so 20th century. Use Apple pay.
Wallets hold more than credit and debit cards. Do you not have a drivers license or a gym access card or a work access card or anything?

Has anyone seen an Airtag wallet yet? Seems like a good idea. I keep an extremely minimal wallet, but wouldn't mind one a bit thicker to throw in an Airtag.
You may want to think twice about this, it has a magnetic and wipes out the magnetic strip on hotel room cards, not sure how long before it wipes the credit card strips, it is stronger.
