Obviously I don't. A while ago an advancement in technology and commoditization of it meant lowering of the price, not the increase of it.
Apple is price gauging on RAM and storage shamelessly.
You forgot to say reopen the screen and wait 45 minutes for it to wake and windows sort itself out.
My dell work laptop is just like that and very painful to use.
Base M3 MacBook Pro buyers are probably people who wouldn't know the difference. If they knowingly bought that, they deserve to be fuming.
Edu often buys base models for budgetary reasons. A 16 GB base for MacBooks and iMacs would be great for edu.
Faster Thunderbolt connections were only in more expensive versions of macs. So it is not excluded that it will appear in the M4 Max.
Well, this was M4. For M4 Pro/Max I'm still expecting Thunderbolt 4, but there is always the possibility of TB5. And if not this generation, perhaps in the next generation.
My M1 MBPro randomly decides which of the 2 extra screens gets the content it used to have upon wakeup. So you wait until wakeup, wait for it to switch primary display from built-in to my 4k screen, then wait to see which screen it decides is 2 and which is 3, then I have to move things around the way they were before sleep. I have different wallpaper on each to track where each is placed. Every time this happens. And sometimes, it just treats the 3rd display as brand new with a default wallpaper and no windows on it at all. And even if it had the screens the same as last time, some windows are still moved to the main display for no reason.
Really hoping they move all Macs on M4 to 16GB RAM. It’s time. I wondered if they would go to 12, which would still be a huge improvement over 8, but 16 will really work well looking forward.

It isn't for the MBP line. Thats been the default for a long time until they recently lowered it for some reason. 16 GB as the base for all Macs is though.

This is probably Apple’s deliberate leak tactics at play to generate all the hype that we are giving it. This is the m3 MacBook Pro box; which kills its credibility instantly. We’re all being duped by this guy here. He’s unboxing an m3 macbook lol. And we’re all buying into this ****. Not me. Sure the back says “M4 Chip” but that is incredibly easy to photoshop along with the other specs. 100% fake. The bottom line is that it’s the same box as the m3, lol. Period. I won’t let this fake nonsense waste any more of my time.
