Only some small home fix's to deal with.
Then I can start ordering Ryzen 3600 hardware over next few weeks.
Think I can manage a simple build with a reduced Kingston SSD and copy of used win 10.
I'll post my build over this weekend.
950 Uk pounds approx including 24" Monitor.

Ican only manage triple figure board!
It seems that we we would both like an ASUS Prime X370-Pro MAX, at least if it had two M.2 slots.

Add WiFi card.

It probably would not make sense to rework to add an M.2, but MAX would be enough for many people.

Could it run 3600MHz RAM?

I see only one AM4 board with four x16 slots: the X570 Godlike.

The cheapest TR4 board with four x16 slots costs 260 euro. It actually has five (one 2.0).

Note about the previous ASUS link that their lower end 400-series boards would support PCIe 4.0 better than their higher end ones.

For proper expandability, one would have to live with x16@x8 4.0, which is better than 3.0 if you're using an APU, or two x16 4.0 slots.

None with flashback giving you 4.0 on more than M.2 . Another point in favour of starting with Ryzen prev gen.

AMD is still saying that they will remove 4.0 on previous boards from the final AGESA.
