AMD no longer makes RDNA 1 chips, so unless Apple bought up the last remaining GPU chips, won't be happening.

Previous understanding was orders for AMD RDNA (RNDA1) would be fulfilled beyond EOY 2020. Do not know if that has shifted because of COVID19, or is now being cut short earlier than expected. Any insight?

Last understanding, there is no expectation for GCN4/5 order fulfillment beyond EOY 2020 from major retailers unless they are already warehoused. There was a 2020 release of an RX 590 model in some countries. Assume that was one-time or based on shifting existing chip supply.

Lock in the driver package in the actual 11.1 Beta. If you are familiar with such stuff and analyze them, you will also be able to see the progress like I do.

Can we assume the drivers will be finished and included for the release of 11.1?

I think yes, I can't find anything in the code that would hold Apple back, from releasing it with 11.1 final. I would not be surprised if Apple insert the missing part in beta 2 or beta 3 of 11.1.

I have heard on other forums that beta 2 does not have finished drivers, so now we wait for beta 3.
