MP All Models AMD Radeon RX 6800 XT / 6900 XT for macOS?

Thanks - wow, that`s a huge card. What would be the max length of GPU cards that would fit without 3M tape/removing the pcie card holder? I thought 310mm is the limit.
I don't know if a number is useful - maybe GPU manufacturers measure lengths differently.
Some of the posts I linked had measurements. #71 says 309.5 mm but you can cut into the plastic of the fan shroud to make it 321 mm...
Based on my attempt to install a 330mm card, I reckon you’d be struggling with more than 310mm.
Do you happen to know what temps your memory is hitting? On mine I was hitting 80-90C under load.
I got the bootcamp drivers, google it and you should find it - the red version worked for me when mixing gpus
That did not work for me. I was able to install, but upon reboot, both my screens were black. It removed the other Radeon default drivers, and now my LG 5K does not come on. Any ideas? Should I completely remove the 580X MPX module?
Either OS, rendering doesnt hit the memory that hard (from what I can tell). Mining will depending on what coin you mine. Since I haven’t been using my computer I have been letting it mine ETH, memory has been sitting at 62C since I watercooled the card (before it would be in the upper 90’s). Curious to see if Apples case ventilation design can keep the memory cooler than that.
I tried switching to HDMI instead of USB C too, on a different monitor, and that let me get the screen on to update the drivers and then it worked
ok, but do you have a monitor like an LG 5K connected also via USB-C? I was able to get the 6900 XT to work finally, but only after I completely removed the MPX module. I was really hoping to use both card and also use the LG Ultrafine 5K
This has been brought up in other threads, so apologies if I'm repeating something you've already heard. But the Ultrafine 5k cannot be driven at 5k over USB-C, only 4k.

There was someone fabricating "extenders" for PCIe cards (or at least considering) that would secure cards into the module fastener, similar to how the bar on the 5770's would lock into place. If MPX upgrade isn't released, might be worth looking into for those upgrading GPUs.
