And the best buy lines begin....

UPS just pulled up with I'm presuming the ipads. The manager had him go around back. I heard the ups guy saying you got 8. So idk what that means
 
looks like fun:p hope you are all in agreement of who's first and what not

Just got to the best buy store in Anaheim. With so few ipads per best buy I decided to camp it. Wow I pity myself for this decision but I need to have mine tomorrow :)
 
To the guy in Florida, please relay the following message to those in line with you:

Not in Florida but in Rhode Island here... Just checked my local Best Buy and there is 0 line... Will be back around 5am too :) Same strategy ;)
 
You know what I was thinking. If Taco Bell would stay open 24 hours a day they would make a killing on apple launch nights. :D I remember when I stood in line once for the Apple 3G launch all I saw were Taco Bell cups and bags.

It doesn't have to be an ASC store, just a store with a mini Apple store (whatever you want to call it). All 675 stores with the mini Apple store are getting them. I drove past mine just 10 minutes ago and nobody was there yet, except for a few employees outside smoking.
 
Just peeked in through the window since it's not closed up and I can see a small little palate full of ipads. There is at least 30

Like 5. But i saw the stock and they got a nice little amount. You'll be fine coming down around 5
 
Just checked my best buy seems like two people in a car waiting but no one in line, they are gonna be pissed when we all park behind it and walk up 17 people deep cause best buy im going to only got 17 hello 1 oclock they better get out of the car
 
Hope you guys waiting at BB don't get disappointed with their selection. With 3 different models tomorrow the late comers likely won't get to pick the exact model they wanted.

That, or you will have to pay more for more memory than you initially wanted.
 
I work at a Best Buy in Minnesota, just left work and there is no one in line. We are the largest Apple Product Reseller in our district, so we have quite the display. Our ASC was setting up the display, and it is going to be very sweet!

Strangely enough, we were slated to receive 30 of each SKU, but we only received 5 16gb, 15 32gb, and 5 64gb. And we havent received any of the Demo units yet!! Our ASC was a bit perturbed, I guess UPS is coming tomorrow at 5 am with the rest. It should be quite a hectic day!
