Is there a way to "refresh" live tiles?

I have a couple that haven't changed in a couple days and the news stories and sports stories are old.

Good info Jeff.

I get worried regarding those small tools within an app even though they may have the actual app.

I really dont want to go back to Apple (even though everything else I own is apple from the AppleTV, to the Mac, to the Macbook Air. Just cant stand their phones).

This is why I want to test on a WP budget phone and play with the operating system prior to the Iphone 6 release. Android, unless an amazing stock experience can be offered, is done for me for a while.

I am exactly at the same point. 75% chances I won't upgrade to iPhone 6 but if Nokia Lumia 930 becomes available around here, I am jumping ship. I still have some questions regarding if I will be able to use or migrate my iCloud contacts, mail and calendars and my iTunes purchases (music, movies and books).

All your contacts / calendar & mail is supported.

ITunes music as long as it's not DRM protected. Just use the windows phone app from the Mac App Store and it will sync your iTunes playlist.

IBooks similar story, though in had to drag/drop the ePub files.

Movies never tried ....

Windows Phone works just like any external drive you plug into a PC. Drag and drop files exactly as you would with any other external drive or USB stick. Simple.

I recently bought the 1520 and its a hell of a phone. Love the screen and man is it fast.

I had an issue with Cortana and the Multitask window opening up randomly but come to find out it was the new case I bought for it. It seemed too tight or something and was triggering those functions.I took the case off and the phone worked perfect for 2 days and hasnt had the issue since. Weird

The one issue I am currently having is I'd press the tile for Facebook and Instagram would open. Its not mapping to the correct tiles. Any help?

I thought maybe it had to do with the transparent tile app Ive been using but havent tested without turning it off yet.
