I assume you’ve obviously reported this to Apple as well?Yes, i have one at office, base model..it does it too
Excellent insight! Thank you for this. Please keep reporting this to Apple with each OS update that doesn’t fix it.I purchased my 16” at the end of January. I only use it for Logic Pro x. i also have the pops that most here experience only with internal speakers. Even though I can still return it to Costco, I got it with a nice discount. i really liked everything about it, so hoping for a fix. 80% of the time i use an audio interface or headphones w/o a problem.
YouTube pausing or fast forward/etc does not occur or it’s not easily heard. Spotify it’s fine too. I can easily force it to happen with one track using a voice sample. It’s set to 44.1khz. If i increase the buffer size over 512 is basically gone, so I would think a software update should fix it. Come on Apple!

I too would like to see some reports on the MBA doing having these issues as well. I was considering buying one, but I won’t if this is the case.Would you point me to the thread for the new MacBook Air? Thanks!
I am sorry to hear you also have the issue. It is a major bummer. No clue why Apple can't seem to figure this out and fix it. That pesky T2Clear the same trouble for me but MBP 15 2019(last 15 inch model) i9

It might actually be a combination of the two. It's not a T2 bug, it's macOS related.

The issue is not machine specific. There is no “repair”. It will happen on every single machine, specifically the 16” MBP in my case. I have verified this time and again with Apple even at an executive level.Very sad .... because this isn't small problem of one user. I began to watch more for this problem and noticed crackling when just press on trackpad, without running any app. I hear this few times ...
Anybody tried change/repair or any solution for this device by apple?
bought 15 inch I was afraid of "butterfly" it still perfect on my experience... but something new from apple for "good" money, sad....
That's news here, I believe. When did you first experience the issue with those machines? No. My MacBook Pro Retina Mid 2014 has the issue and my Hackintosh has it as well. Obviously there is no T2 chip in both of them.
That's also curious, in that most people had this issue long before that. You're sure it's the same thing?10.15.4 Beta 1
What what? I replied to the message above me.
You're sure it's the same thing?
Hopefully the incremental fixes aren't creating new problems of their own.No I am not. Already described my issue earlier in this topic. Random audio popping / crackling when playing YT videos. No matter which browser. Seems to happen more often when CPU is under load.
It would appear this may be the case. SMHHopefully the incremental fixes aren't creating new problems of their own.
