Looks like it’s time for me to make the upgrade from my series 3. That blue colour seems to be the way to go. Glad I waited.

Does it comes with watch os7? Doesn’t that mean iOS14 will have to be released on Friday?

The funny part is that they make it sound like it's because of the enviroment, but really we all know it's about maximizing profit.

Of course Apple's gonna spin it, though they do like to trumpet about their environmental awareness.

That said, whether or not manufacturing cost reduction is part of the reason, the net effect is less wasted resources making a ton of 5W power adapters lots of folks just leave in the box or throw away.

No ceramic for series 6. Also... I’ve always bought SBSS... looks like “graphite” has mostly replaced that for the stainless options. Now to decide between aluminum blue or graphic SS...

does anyone know if graphite is a matte finish? it looks awfully similar to titanium space black

Yeah, This is a minor update. I am happy with my Ceramic S5. Next year, I think we will see a major update.

I have the series 5 and just pre-ordered the 6 cellular through the Apple Store app. Getting $190 for trade in of the 5. Probably can get more selling locally / Swappa, but trade in is simple. Delivers Friday, done.

Went back through the live-blog for the differences and I'm still not seeing anything really calling me to upgrade from my SBSS S5 to an S6.

  • Blood O2 - I understand it's probably a big deal for some folks, but I don't see what benefit it'd provide to me.
  • AOD 2.5x brighter - I've so rarely wished my existing AOD was brighter that I'm not sure it'd be worth the $$$
  • Up-to 20% faster - also not sure it'd be worth the $$$ coming from S5
  • Always-on altimeter - neat idea, but again I'm unsure of what real word benefit it'd provide.
Did I miss anything?

I‘ve just ordered a series 6 silver Aluminum 44MM watch with Navy Blue Sport Band.

As far as the power brick goes, it doesn’t bother me at all, as I have a box full of bricks from other devices,

This is something that pisses me off about Apple. They do crap like this. Holy frack, this is, depending on the day, the richest company on the planet, and they still cheap bleep things.

Some days I really hate this company, even if I use their products.

Nope, that's what I saw too. And my guess is that at least 3 of those 4 eat more of the watches precious battery. I can't even find a reference to battery life on the website.

I don't have an Apple Watch at all, but I am considering one since I've been having heart issues. I don't see what the difference is between the SE and 6. Can someone please help me out here. Thanks!
