I sold my series 5 cellular in anticipation of the series 6. At the moment, my series 3 GPS is running WatchOS 7 and my phones are on iOS 13.7. I can still use my series 3 in a limited capacity. I may send it in to Apple to get downgraded free of charge with overnight shipping both ways.

I’m highly tempted. My series 2 is working minus the microphone. It still tracks workouts and gives me notifications but it would be nice to be able to use the mic again. I think the pool killed my mic so AppleCare is a must next time. Considering that my series 2 has lasted me this long, the series 6 should hold me over for a while.

Seriously considering buying one , especially with the option of paypal credit spreading the cost

Let's see if they up the battery a bit , if so , I'm getting one

Having S0 hiding somewhere here at home, using Versa 2. Can't wait to get back to Apple Watch again!

I’d only buy the 5 if Apple drop the price at the launch of the 6. Not looking into the second hand market. I never would for a watch or phone.
My recollection last year was that Apple discontinued the 4 the same time they released the 5. For the most part I didn’t see substantial discounts from other retailers on the series 4 for the rest of the year (though I think if you looked hard enough you could find a decent $100 off on some seasonal sales). So, it may just require some patience and persistence to get what you’re looking for on the series 5 after tomorrow.

48 mm please

That wouldn’t probably be a very lucrative business model for Apple to offer that size, for a very minute demographic of consumers that would actually want anything that large on their wrist. [And this is coming from someone that has a decent sized wrist], that would be almost comical. Plus, for Apple to manufacture an entire new casing of silicon for a display casing of that size, certainly wouldn’t justify generating a profit given the cost of retooling, new dimensions, larger battery, ect.

Battery. Battery. Battery.

Even if nothing else changes, get me to a true 3-day battery life with full usage (Sleep, workouts, daily wear) and I'm in.

A larger AW would possibly also have a larger battery.

And since I'm wearing a 51mm Fenix, and the mid size is 47mm, no problems on my end.

The Fenix size is ridiculous especially for everyday wear, but if that’s what you like, good on you. I don’t think most people like wearing a giant toy looking device.

I currently have the Series 3 and am looking to upgrade. Whether I upgrade to the 5 or 6 will be determined by how much of an upgrade the 6 is compared to the 5. If its not that much of an upgrade, I'll probably go with the 5. If it's a big upgrade, then 6 it is!

I don't need the newest one, so if it ends up being the 5...I wouldn't mind at all.

Depends on if there is a new ceramic Edition. I have a Series 3 white ceramic and I love it. Series 6 ceramic is a no brainer. If there is no ceramic I'll have to ponder it... fingers crossed.

My watch is either 2 or 3. Will probably buy 6, was close to buying the 5. Will probably buy iPhone 12 on launch, upgrade from X.

I agree, the battery life has to reach beyond 18 hours that is currently rated. I know one can achieve above that with the right modifications, but we shouldn’t have to make all those tweaks to extend the battery, When Apple should be making a priority with battery longevity. At this point, I think the battery improvements are just as crucial as the health advancements. Users are getting smarter, they know exactly what how they manage the battery life throughout the day based on their app, Settings, activity, etc. So if Apple can increase the battery life, I think that would provoke others to upgrade.

Crap, nothing about battery life. I think it's called time flies because there isn't much that's changing. It almost looks like they're done with the Apple Watch portion too.
