Maybe I also missed it, but, what's the best application to unlock the phone? And are there instructions anywhere around here?

I know you didn't ask for my help.. but

Once you get the phone it's ridiculously simple. I downloaded a program called ZiPhone. Plug your iPhone in, open Ziphone and select the option you want, I selected 'do it all- unlock, jailbreak and activate'. Took about five minutes, and then I threw in my Rogers sim and all was well.
