Anybody Playing My Town 2?

one thing I'm unsure of, is when I franchise a business from someone, do I actually have to wait until the person collects the bucks from the franchise I've made until I'm allowed to delete the business, or may I delete it immediately?

I usually wait 6-10 hours after I make a franchise, until I delete it. Because I'm not sure that if I delete it earlier the person still gets bucks or not.

does anyone know more? :confused:

When I was buying my businesses to start my page the other day (gold coins) the person I got one from was with me and said the handshake thing came through within 15 min. Maybe try only keeping them 30 min or an hour and see if it still works. It did just a min ago :D thank you so much! :)

Ps. I'm still buying my land and the two i just got were pretty close to 2 million dollars each! Who knows how much that last piece will cost. An arm & a leg I'm sure! So glad I saved up some extra coins before I deleted those stock towers yesterday. ;)

I just franchised your Gamestop for 45 bucks, and immediately deleted it after I build it. Now, have you still got bucks or not? if yes, how much?
 
Everybody uses stock exchanges, well not me ;)
Over half a billion in 10 hours :D

Your town is saved outside your iPod/iPhone/iPad. So, deleting the game and re-installing it doesn't wipe out your progress.

When you delete the game, you should see a little message about keeping your GameCenter data. If you answer "Yes", your town is preserved. If you answer "No", then your town should be wiped clean.

By the way I don't know if it still works the same now, but...
If you turn your location services off before starting up MyTown2 for the first time, you should be prompted to select your location. This was a way to set your home location to a place that has a lot of high popularity businesses, which you can then franchise with coins (as opposed to bucks).​

Population

I have been exploring some of the more advanced players here to see what there town are like and get ideas.

What I see more often than not, is that a lot of you don't have huge amounts of houses/condos etc. which do take up a lot of space. So is the strategy to get community type buildings etc to build up population?

And if you delete houses do you lose that population and have to get back that population?

Also curious. I see some of you have lovely features in abundance. I am guessing these were special seasonal ones. Do you just buy and sell them so you get the new ones each time?

Sorry even whilst I type these questions they seem lame but I am clueless.

I franchised you a second time (all businesses I think). How much do you need now? :) what I wonder more, how many bucks have you got through my franchises?

is it possible that you switched the two IDs? Ipad: 36506146 Iphone: 33855710 I think it's vice versa if you tell me that "Melzzzy's 2 Town" is on your iPhone

Mostly I got one or two bucks because my business are so obsolete. But. Two of the business Tessan & cafe Bombay gave me 14 bucks each !!! You definitely gave me at least 80 the first go and just now 52.

Question. If I franchise you. Do I get a copy of your business in my town?

I get franchised so much, I lost track. If I recall right I got 3 bucks from you, but I'm really not sure if it was really you.
But I gifted you and franchised some of your businesses right now, enjoy ;)

No problem ;) you are very welcome.
When you franchise one of my businesses it's the same copy in terms of popularity, but you still start from Level 1.
I also gifted and franchised some of your businesses (yes, again ;) ) of both of your accounts.

So... it's already midnight here. I'll drink my whisky and play a little bit Left 4 Dead 2 (my favorite game on my MacBook), and then go to sleep. Tomorrow I'll franchise couple of more businesses.

You two, enjoy the bucks and mytown 2! :) :) :)

Hey guys, long-time reader, first time poster. I was wondering how people can make so much money with stock exchanges?!

Also, if someone could help me out. I just started playing the game this week, but I'm really enjoying it. I only have 20 bucks, and 30k coins, but my town is coming along nicely.

If some of you super-wealthy owners could feel it in your hearts to help me out, so I could really get going, it'd be VERY grateful.

Hi Abby

I will help you with some gifts. I too am trying to get my two towns up and running as well.

But to get coins the BEST way I found was build as many Stock Exchanges as you can. The difference is astronomical. In the threads people talk about at least 30. I agree. On my Ipad (my new toy and new town) I only have about 5 or so and I can see the difference on my Iphone where I have at lesat 20 'working' ones. I was amazed when I reaped over a million coins one day. Couldnt believe it.

Plus there are some very very kind people on here who will franchise and gift you as well. I mean to reciprocate asap. Still trying to buy out the rest of my blocks of land !

I will add you and gift you shortly.

Another Newbie question.....how do I buy a stock exchange?? Thanks for your help :)
