Yes thanks ENJOY!!!! You franchised 3 of my businesses that I got from booyahtopia and I got 150 dollars!!! Stoked! If anyone else wants to franchise me, franchise the 4 business that are Home theater stores that are next to the circus tent. Those are the high population businesses and I get a grip load from them. Yes, I am still franchising. I figured whilst I am waiting for Booyah, I might as well let you guys benefit. Hopefully, it will work out for me with Booyah. I really do not want to start another town, mostly because of some of the one off stuff I have. Although sometimes, I am thinking it might be a bit of fun starting again and asking for franchises !! LOL
BTW how much do you guys get when I franchise you. Some/most of the franchises I do are over the $1000 bucks. I hope you get at least the $50 !!

Thanks mez - I'm only getting 2's and 3's but that still helps - I just moved my top 3 that give me 50 to the top of the screen if that helps - Begins, Beverly Hills Hotel, Johnson Burger.
I also have Disneyland which gives 50 but it is in my little amusement park to the left.

I love the tip about using airplane mode to franchise cheaply from Booyahtopia! Yay - I finally have a huge pop business.
I just tried to change my time zone on iPad to get an extra 5 gifts. It didn't work. Sorry - I won't have as many gifts today as I had anticipated. Anyone been able to do this in iPad?

Hey guys, Im new here but have been reading this thread for a while now and all of your tips and tricks have been very helpful. Ive been trying to play this game 'fair' (no stacking) for months now, but the slow progress is really starting to annoy me.
I noticed how everyone on this board is so helpful in franchising eachother to make some progress and I would really appreciate it if someone could franchise some of my business for bucks or coins.

That sure will help. Today, just on my iphone it took me 2 whole hours to franchise !!! Lots of towns, I know where things are and go straight to the good ones, or rather the ones that I have to pay the most and don't already own, but sometimes it takes longer, especially if the skins look the same etc. So any help with putting the good ones at the top sure does help ! On another note, I got an email from Booyah saying that they can re-instate my old town and I am to delete the new town on the new device and wait until they let me know. I hope I deleted it correctly ! Hopefully be up and running tomorrow.

Hey ComoKat, in regards to the timezone switch thing, I thought it didn't work either (I was trying to do it to get the sci-fi items early). After you've changed your timezone, switch your ipad off completely i.e. keep your finger on the power button then 'slide to power off'. then just start it up as normal, open up mytown2 and you should have the additional gifts. do the same to switch your timezone back so that it registeres at midnight and gives you your usual gifts > I hope I've explained it right, this certainly worked for me.
I'll certainly try and help franchise you for coins, what is your actual town name? I've added you but can't find you > when you add a friend to mytow2, it just gets added randomly and I have a lot of towns saved of people who have gifted/franchised so can't find you (I'd have to click into each town and check the ID individually).
It might also help if you add your town name/Id to the signature, therefore people will see it each time you post.

Keeping my fingers crossed for you Melzzzy, this is what they told me to do so I'm confident it should all work out fine.
I will say that helps soooo much.... I franchise from a ipod touch so it's time difficult to find the top businesses.

I will second that.... it's something I noticed from mytown2.net and really liked. Also if you can put your town name in it if your town name is no your user name on this forum

I appologize to you and the rest of the people here, I have been pretty a work and getting back on this time zone that I haven't been franchising as much. Recently I have only gotten to franchise a business each time someone gifts me, which in it's self takes a few hours. Hopefully I can do a bunch time this weekend with having a 3 day weekend.
Retract that apology NOW!! OMG do you know how much we appreciate the time and effort you put into franchising us? And youre not just helping one town, youre helping out so much of us that it must take AGES!!! Ive got a small appreciation of the time it takes to franchise one business let alone more than that and as I said your helping out loads of people> so I/we salute you!!
I also want to say that the franchises are not expected, so dont feel bad or guilty of you cant reciprocate if someone has left you a gift > its our way of saying thanks not give me more!!
So I just wanted to get the point across that we appreciate (don't expect) what you do.
regarding the popularity on my businesses how do i really bring it up? is checking in the only way because if it is then it would be quite slow. and the popularity of my business fluctuates. why is it so?

I don't know of any way to actually increase you business popularity. People used to "manipulate" the save game to increase your popularity, but I believe the lasted update fixed that..... which is a great thing for us "Robin Hoods" as I can't franchise your business fast enough to keep the high popularity, as I don't want to kick airplane mode on and off for each franchise.

When we franchise to help people out we delete the businesses once the franchise is completed. I can't speak for others but I only have my 2 businesses because once says I am 0m from it so I can complete all of the check-in goals and the other was there to receive gifts.

Also - suggestion is to put your best businesses in a different skin so friendly donators can go right to them.

I realised my ritz hotel which i franchised from the genius methodnof thenairplane mode suggested, from booyah was 37000++ but it became 5300. Anyone knows why it was like this. Becase as far as i am concerned the popularity of the business affected each time it payouts on thenjob interval.

I think this is Ritz specific cos it has happened to mine today too. Just gone down from nearly 40k to only 5k!
I'm guessing your located near to melzzzy hence the reason you've been able to franchise her businesses for coins. If its now asking you for bucks, try going back to the social page > explore > then refresh. Then try going back into melzzzy's town and you should be able to franchise the businesses for coins. Mytown2 sometimes 'forgets' your location but the refreshing seems to work.

I have been trying to franchise others to help out as I have been going along, and will try to do more to pass on the help I have received as time permits. The airplane mode is brilliant and these businesses are gaining in population day by day

Franchises would be super helpful!!! I have to wait like 2 days to buy a piece of land now with the prices at 300,000. My 40 mega malls arent doing what I thought they would. 400% increase seems like a lot, but its not. Franchises would be super helpful and would give me coins and dollars I would need to expand my town and buy land. Ill make a note on who helps me out and when I room ill franchise you too! Thanks!!!
