Buying intergalactic
I was visiting other people's towns and saw one with over 40 intergalactic stations. If they cost $80 each that is over $3000. Is there. A way to get a lot of cash without having to pay for them? I am finding it hard to believe that someone purchased over $3000

When 'My Town 2' first came out for the iphone/ipod, there was a glitch that allowed the user to get unlimited money from the game. It does not work anymore since an update resolved that issue. It was called 'The lockscreen glitch' just an fyi.

Not sure if someone has posted this yet, I apologize if it is a repost!!
The "Goals" on my game have disappered, not sure if that's a part of the game. As soon as I hit level 26 she isn't on my screen anymore. Anyone know what it could be?!

If your goals are all finished and no more new goal is there for you, it disappere.
Franchises Question
How come some franchises offer jobs for free, yet others you still have to pay for? I haven't quite figured out how this works.
If anyone is looking for the NYC Starbucks, I have it in my town, as well as several others (NY Times, Super Fashions, etc) that seem to be popular.
Does anyone know -- the more popular a franchise gets (check-ins), does the job pay increase? Or will it only increase if someone purchases that franchise through your town and you get a cut?

I figured out the loophole about turning every business into an office and buy as many stock exchanges as I can. *So this game became uncool very fast.
Now my earnings are negative. Just like I saw on the forums. *You don't offer a user guide, and there's no point to lots of coins in this game.
Quick question: *How much is your game worth? *Let's say I wanted to purchase the entire game. *So that there's no extra charges for bucks/wonders. *Play station and X box games are 50-60 dollars and you can play the entire game. *I see purchasing 100 dollars worth of your game bucks can not purchase everything. *Do you believe you game is worth more that that? *A game you'll always have in beta mode needing updates and more updates, constantly fixing bugs. *I don't ever remember my 60 dollar play station games needing updates or buckets of game money that could cost me $200 or more.
So how much is this game worth?

New question, is it legal to sell someone else's name? *Are you paying royalties to the businesses?

I bout a lot. Of stock exchanges and my money increased very fast, well worth it.
Can someone explain checking in? Am I only able to check in to stores I buy that are local? I bought real stores from my town 2 like saks, Oprah, etc how do I check into them? Also, when you check in and it says something like visit 3 clothing stores in one day what does that mean? How do. I now oh wrong a day is? HELP

Just had some action in my town. All my stores had mult upgrades on them some went up to level 9!!!! Still no bonus pts. But did get some new gardens to buy. Very surprised. I was just getting up to the point of reaching limits on everything. Now all I need is more space.
What is the update
I logged into my town 2 today and it flashed at the bottom that there is update app. But when I go to the app store I do not see an update. Does anyone know what the update is?

You don't stack businesses, you stack wonders.
You probably can't check into the business you mentioned because you are not near enough to it. You can only check into businesses that are local (not quite sure what local is - within 5 miles maybe?)
Stock exchanges - they give you 20% more business income. I stacked 50 so the formula is 1.2^49 = 7583. So for every dollar you are collecting without any stock exchanges, I am collecting $7583.

Still no levels beyond 50???
Great, so the update brings all of these new features, many of which provide you with more XP, but it doesn't help if I'm stuck at 50! Anyone else able to level up above 50? I'm hoping this is just an oversight on Booyah's part - most of the people that can expand their land beyond what used to be there have to be at level 50 or close.

Thats my population. Look at my towns earnings. -2,065,290,879.....and have -2,065,628,887 currently in hand.

In the same boat...still.. I emailed support again since they told me in their last email that it would be fixed in this update. Lets see what they have to say...
No, I don't have the option to build level beyond 50.
I have emailed Booyah via their website to ask them to fix the negative coin issue.
Does anyone know how I can get on My Town 2 on my iPad and iPhone? My friend can play the same game on both iPad and iPhone but I am only able to play on one - my iPhone starts from the beginning level 1. I'm signed in on both with the same game centre account.
Also I can put business tasks on my 3mins,30 mins,2 hours and 10 hours whereas he can only do 3mins, 15mins, 1hour, 4 hours, why is his different?
Any help would be great.

Not completely sure but i think it has to do with different versions of the game. Either iPad to iPhone, or country to country. Just different versions.

Figured out the problem between the iPad and iPhone is 2 different Booyah ID's on the same game centre account. Does anyone know how to change ID within My Town itself?
I have wondered the same thing on the 'timing' of collecting rent. My friend and I began playing at the same time. I have the iPhone 4S, they have the iPhone 4. My time settings are 3mins, 15mins, 1 hour, and 4 hours. My friend's time settings are 3mins, 30mins, 2 hours, and 10 hours. I LOVE all the tips on this forum. I am addicted to this game. I've been playing for a couple months, but living in small town, USA makes it hard to find lucrative businesses. My highest popularity business is 102 (I have 19 businesses). What does everyone think of the new changes to the game as of yesterday?

So at first I bought local biz in soCal and after reading the posts here I was able to reset my location to be in LA. I notice that at least most of the biz here in soCal i can buy using coins. I sold my not so popular biz and bought/franchised the popular ones that I can buy using coins. Only biz I bought using bucks is Univ Studios and it's worth the pay off.
I still don't understand the pricing of the "hot" biz. Like Disneyland, when I searched biz in Anaheim, there are a number of Disneyland biz that came out but only one is "hot" and I have to use bucks (not coins) to buy it. I thought if I'm near a biz, I can buy it using coins no matter how "hot" it is.
