I just wanted to send out an overall thanks to the players that submit questions and answers on this forum. This thread makes the game much more enjoyable and I have learned so much from you guys/gals! Thanks to the advice of you guys I am now up to over a million But I really want to send an extra thanks to the conquers of the game Val, CandyLand, Shlampy, GeordieLand, Dangopolis and Babylone because you guys really do help!! Hopefully I will be able to get to top status and help other newbies somewhere down the line. Heres to the friends in MyTown2 (yes, yes I am a little cheesy lol)

So, I got some of my businesses franchised (thanks, by the way, to candyland). The first two gave me 50 bucks. The third was only, like, 3 bucks. Then the next one gave me coins. Does that have something to do with my businesses, or their levels, or something? Any additional help would be greatly appreciated.

Has everyone had a chance to read back in the the beginning of this thread, or on the player run forum Facebook talks about on how to go into "settings" and turn "off" your "location setting" to trick your device into thinking your in New York City(or Paris or wherever)?
Hello I went into location services and turned them all off then went into the game and nothing happened. What do I have to do to change my location so I can go to NY and buy for coins?

A while back, if you turned off location services and entered the game, it asked you where you are. Then, you'd just select a city/country and you're set. Well, that little trick is gone now.
Today, there are two locations that My Town 2 knows. The first is the location you set when you first installed and ran the app. Remember that selector that asked for your location? That's your "home" location. The second is your location provided by location services. This is your "roaming" location.
If you turn off location services, the game will default to your "home" location. If you are actually in your "home", then it would match your "roaming" and nothing would be affected.
Some people have uninstalled (keeping the GameCenter data) and reinstalled the app to set a different "home" location. Be warned, though. Some have lost their towns in doing this. Browse over to the referred link above this post and have a look at tips & tricks.
To everyone that has been posting your ID. That alone is not enough. You must let us know your town's name or we can't find you. Please post both name and ID. Thanks. We are here to help you.

I have been on a mini vacation and haven't posted on here for awhile. I have been started lurking and reading with much interst to see that you all are having alot of the same issues as myself and along with other fellow MAYORS are experiencing on other My Town 2 threads. I watch with much interest to see if there are ever any new tricks, ideals, etc to expand my playing experience so I can then pass that useful information onto fellow mayors!!!!!!!!
I am experiencing trouble with land expansions as well.
I am located in Rosiclare, Cave-In-Rock, Elizabethtown, Golconda, Marion, SIU Carbondale, Il extreme So Il area. Also around Cadiz, Sturgis,Calvert City, and Paducah, Ky area. I am also 30 mi. south of Harrisburg, Il. where that tornado went thru that town bt 3 weeks ago. If you get into my area, I can franchise with coins. I too, have little bucks but I can send you a buck if on a level 10. A couple of smaller pop. businesses are in KY and I don't want to get rid of them, so could you maybe help popularity more by ? Franchising them? I have 31 LEVEL 10 BUSINESSES. YOU ALL CAN SHOP TILL YOU DROP!!!! YOUR HEARTS WILL FILL WITH DESIRE WITH FAIRLY HIGH, HIGHER POPULATED BUSINESSES. There a few level 10 businesses that are good numbers but seems no one wants them, but would you maybe considering franchising them anyway......ok, I am begging here. They look so lonely on my stat page, then I can sleep better at night.....he he he. Lol lol...
Seriously, if ANYONE IF FROM THIS PART OF THE COUNTRY TELL ME SO WE CAN CONNECT. I MISS THE CHAT ROOMS !!!!!!!!

He is on Facebook and one of his friends told him that Facebook has a new player run forum that talks about usefull insight on tricks, cheats, problem solving, etc. I don't hardly ever get on face book anymore since son is on there and he keeps me current with issues.
Anyway, if you get the chance to look at the MyTown 2 Facebook page, it will give you many different types of resources that you have been trying to head bang those unanswered questions while standing in line at the supermarket or day dreaming about at work......now that's DIE HARD FANS!!!! ..... He he he lol lol
The thread is airing and that will be helping out ALL OF OUR TOWNS IN THE LONG RUN ! That,is what we are wanting to achieve....bigger, better, more fun in our towns. If you get a chance to look at MT2 Facebook pg, check it out.

If they asked you in the beginning when you installed the game if they could use your current location then it might not work (like he said) unless you delete.. and reinstall ..then it's called location jumping..and I can't do that cause I'm on an iPad. You'll have to read up on that cause I've never done it ..I told it no it couldn't use my location when i installed the app so it let me pick New York!
