That's also a substantial upgrade from your iPhone 6 to the iPhone X. Completely new technology with a new display and form factor, I'm assuming you will be content for quite some time with the X. Especially for those who are Tech enthusiasts.

True! When tech gets to the point where it works and we are immersed some folks are going to be disappointed.
Pixel 2, iPhone X or 8 or Note 8 just be happy with your purchase and enjoy the moment. It’s not always about what comes next but enjoy what you have now and come

I get what you are saying though.
At some point Apple is going to have to perform some sort of radical redesign for the iPhone. Essentially it is the same chassis we have had since 2014.
There have been some excellent mockups in recent years.
I was hoping it would be a boxy chassis aka iPhone 4/5 series.

I feel stupid paying 1000 for it.
I have no issues with paying money for something that is worth the price and I enjoy but feel so let down with iPhone X.it’s neither enjoyable nor worrh the price.
It’s a nice phone but no way 1000 price tag is justified.
It should have been the standard iPhone upgrade with standard pricing.
I’m considering selling it and buy a Note 8.

No. Actually it's quite the opposite for me. I like using it more than I did any previous iPhone.
I'm bored with my iPhone the same way I'm bored with my hammer and other tools, couch, TV, coffee maker, boots etc. In other words, "bored" isn't really a word I'd use with something that I use to accomplish certain, important tasks with.
In other words and using the phone as an example, as long as it serves it's purpose and functions well as the thing I bought it for I'm a happy camper. And oh boy does it!

To me the iPhone is a tool in my life and the X is the ultimate of its kind. I am not getting bored at all. Only today I was in wonderment of the screen on which I could see a photo imperfection which was not visible on either my iMac or iPad at many times greater magnification. The first time I have really appreciated the improvement the OLED screen makes.
Everything about it was announced before it went on sale. No surprises. Should have probably known beforehand whether what was described was worth it or not.
I am still in love with my iPhone X.

Buy a puppy or something in the meantime. This sounds a bit ridiculous if you ask me. The iPhone X is a great phone, but as many people have pointed out, it was not exactly the next new thing. They expected more. What exactly are you looking for? It's a phone. It's not a magic wand, or the cure for cancer. It's a phone!!!!

OLED display was on Samsung phones even budget models since a decade ago and wireless charging also on Samsung phones years ago.

He’s an iPhone person, different to the average iPhone user that doesn’t know what Android is according to himself.
