im seeing a bunch of micro stutters, I appreciate the video though

It's definitely not on par with other apps. However I don't find it as bad as some others either. I feel this is something the devs of Twitter need to sort out.

That is the problem that shouldn't be. "... as bad .." There should not be any.

I like to give 3rd party devs a little bit of slack. Usually they pull through in the end. Twitter is a service I enjoy that is otherwise free, if it takes them a couple updates to make it as smooth as it used to be that's fine by me. If it truly bothered me more then I valued the service I'd just delete the app.

iPhone 6 Plus on iOS 9.0.2 and I'm in the camp of 'no stutter.'

I find it tiresome that when people say "No issue here" it's closely followed by replies similar to , no your wrong ,and the I've reverted back to iOS 8.4.1 - the holy grail of the sunshine , shines out of its butt - of the best most recent iOS.

Heck I must see no stutter or lag because I'm holding it wrong.

Micro stutters? Lol, you got to be kidding. What's next? Nano Stutters? OMG nano stutters everywhere!!!

Some people will never be happy and just move on to a new level of whiney with every change or update.
Micro suttering is a legitimate term and is often more annoying than a sustained drop in framerates.
iOS 9 was billed in Apple's own words as being faster and more responsive although I expect people will continue acting like this was never claimed.

some people use iOS because other platforms (Android) suffers from those "micro stutters". I expect iOS to be as smooth as it was in the prevous version, if not better. This is a step back.

iOS 4 users were complaining iOS 5 was too slow
iOS 6 users were complaining that iOS 7 was too slow.
iOS 8 users are complaining that iOS 9 is too slow.

Not much has changed.
im not saying its slow, iOS 9 is very fast actually. It just has an issue with scrolling.

6S+ with no stutter on 9.0.2. I don't use social media so I can't comment on Twitter. I'm not saying there isn't an issue or that no one has one, my device is ok. I actually suffer from 3D Touch issues more than anything.

Could it be that some apps aren't fully optimized to run on iOS 9?

I'm happy with iOS 9. Is it perfect? No. Is it better than iOS 8? To me, yes.

Yeah 9.0.2 on my iPhone 6 is buttery smooth.

But I guess I must be lying along with the others in this thread. Get real, please. Just accept that not everyone's getting whatever 'micro stutter' thing you're complaining about now.

I don't blame you for not being able to see it but don't say you DON'T have it because EVERYONE with iOS 9 has this "micro stutter" when scrolling in some apps.

Try scrolling from bottom to top. i guarantee it will stutter 90% of the time.

Okay I just tested this in Twitter and there was a second of lag due to loading of images( option I choose in settings).
I'm using tweetbot and I also know it's the developer who hasn't optimised this app to the best ability to work with iOS 9 , not the OS itself.
