Okay I just tested this in Twitter and there was a second of lag due to loading of images( option I choose in settings).
I'm using tweetbot and I also know it's the developer who hasn't optimised this app to the best ability to work with iOS 9 , not the OS itself.
Could be the apps themselves but the fact that the same app (twitter) is perfectly smooth in iOS 8.4.1 is the problem. Im also using tweetbot 4 which is great but does have stuttering issues like the official Twitter app.

I don't blame you for not being able to see it but don't say you DON'T have it because EVERYONE with iOS 9 has this "micro stutter" when scrolling in some apps.
Well clearly not everyone since there's a lot of people in this thread saying theirs is perfectly fine. When are you going to get it?

I don't "not see it" (I'm a software engineer and am often heavily involved in the UX side of things, so I highly doubt I would "not be able to see it"), it just doesn't happen for me on my phone. Move on.

Then you just don't notice it, good for you. But its there, all 3 of my iOS 9 devices are just defective, right?

impossible. its always ios's fault, always, like always

i suck at jokes..

Safari, on iOS 8, was a daily crash machine on my 6+. Very frustrating and not reliable for my day to day usage, since Safari is my preferred browser. I haven't experienced one Safari crash on iOS 9. Safari is now a joy to use.

That alone, regardless of any lag or perceived lag, is worth upgrading in my opinion. I remember what a mess iOS 8 was when it was released, so to me iOS 9 is on a much better foundation up to this point.

A couple of more updates and who knows, maybe the 8.4.One crew will move to iOS 9. Tried to make a funny, but not so good at it as well. :)

theyll crawl over somewhere between ios 9.1 ~ 9.x, x being whatever the last .1 update is before ios 10, then ios 9 will be praised as "excellent", & the whole cycle starts again with ios 10

i think the worst ios i ever seen was 7 beta 1, but its a beta so

Its between people who just accept things (like you) and people who are critical about issues (like me). People like you never help advance things forward because you "accept or "ignore" issues.

LOL Its even worse on my iPhone 6 and 5S.
And you DO have the issue, you just don't know what it looks like or is.

LOL, stop implying people are too dumb to know what stuttering looks like or what it even is. Is that your only defense to people who aren't nitpicky to insane levels?

Your constant saying the same thing over and over doesn't fix the issue either. All you're doing is insulting who may not have the same level of stutter on their own devices.

I've tested my recent calls and Twitter app on my 6 with 9.1 beta 3 and it's not a laggy stuttery mess you make it out to be. Not even close.

Your own personal bad experience with iOS 9 doesn't make iOS 9 terrible for every single person out there. I'm not sure why that has to be explained over and over.

It's really funny that the biggest thing people are crying about are these "micro stutters". Seems to me that Apple nailed iOS 9 if the biggest talked about complaint is some crazy, super nitpick, almost meaningless thing and not the OS itself.

I never said the micro stutters and lag while scrolling are terrible. All I said is, it is not on the same level of smoothness as 8.4.1. Those who are saying it isn't there are just plain WRONG. Its not a coincidence that all of my iOS 9 devices have this issue while my 8.4 device are fine. Its completely insane to think I got unlucky with my particular install of iOS 9.
