iPhone X Anyone Regret Getting Gold

I got it an hour ago....lol, I think it looks killer, I am keeping it.
Apple really did a good job with the gold phones and gold stainless steel watches this year. Heading to a store to see them in person is recommended. They look amazing.

Because a lot of us like the unique chameleon gold color, it is more than just the one color and is pretty incredible really.
I think you should have gone for it. To me it's that new VW color white/greyish most of the time but the pink does come out in certain light....
I no longer have the gold XS, instead yesterday I picked up the silver XS Max and am now happy I did.
When I first saw the phone I loved it. I was seeing goId and copper, then when I went back to exchange, I saw seeing rose gold and pink. I stared at the phone long and hard. Looked at it from different angles. And kept comparing it to the silver. In the end, I was seeing enough pink to turn me off. But overall I liked the silver more.
I do think Apple did a beautiful job with the phone and the stainless steel gold watch though.
What kind of screen protector do you have? Does it change the tone of colour of the display?
Oh man! That was my situation in reverse (swap silver for gold). I almost left with no phone! Since the clerk closed the first IUP loan at the beginning!

And no it doesn’t affect the colour of the display.
I waited until I could see all the colours in store (then ordered from John Lewis for next day pick up). I got the silver although I’m not crazy about the back; my real preference would be silver edge with the space gray glass back but I figured I’ll see the back less than the band around the edge and the silver edge looks best.
The gold finish works for the watch, IMO, but the washed out glass back of the phone doesn’t look good. I wouldn’t actually get a gold watch though because it would essentially clash with jewellery (I do still have a few gold earrings but it’s not the 1980s so they don’t really see much use).

I have the 6S in gold with that leather case. It looks fantastic. I've had this combo for over two years now and it just looks better and better as the case wears. Well, up to a point. The corners are a bit scuffed but I think it still looks good.
I mean are you "tired" of gold color version? If you have a choice would you buy the same gold color version?

I've had the gold 6S+ for 3 years and just traded it for a Red 10R.Happy with the decision.
I liked the Gold XS Max when Apple unveiled them back in September, it's very nice....but I feel for me, it would get old fast. I owned a Gold Apple Watch S2 back in the day and it was so hard to find bands that matched with the Gold casing...I then instead went with Space Gray Watch and love it. I always go back to Space Gray, cases and watch bands just seem to match way better. If I were to upgrade my X to the XS Max, I'd go with Space Gray.
No chance. Still the best looking one by far. I even doubled down by getting the gold watch this week as well.
I have an XS and I got Gold to match the S4 Apple Watch I got in Gold. The XS case I got is a clear glossy which shows that its Gold but honestly, the great Gold shine is masked a bit as even a clear case makes it little hazy. If you don't run a clear case then the color of the phone is even less important.
But, I'm happy with the Gold. I've had Space Grey for the last several years and the Gold is a nice change. No Regrets...

I love my gold XS Max. I would not change for anything. I wish this specific gold had been available on previous iPhone models.
Can anyone with the gold phone, and the official saddle brown leather case care to take some pictures of them together please?
I think this is the combination I will go for, but would like to see them together first.
