Looked quite good, a few features seem stupid annoying gimmicks:

When you're watching a video, if you turn your head to the side it pauses.

The air touch seems pointless really.. you might hover your hand over the phone and switch apps accidentally (also you would look like a **** doing it)

I'm sure airtouch is only active with certain apps - not everything. Just like many features of both Android and iOS.

Anyone? Still staying with your iPhone but getting the s4? Let us know!

We need a poll added to this thread

----------

Nope, sticking with my Iphone 5 and iOS. If I were to purchase another android device it would be a Nexus. stock android ftw. There will never be a time when I completely get rid of my iPhone in favor of android though. My preference is iOS.

I'm at a crossroads.

I'm torn between the iPh5 and the S4. I left iOS a while ago, but Android has really disappointed me lately.

Don't know what to do. Not crazy about the S4...

I'm keeping my 5 and getting an S4 when it comes out.

I'll update the 5 to iOS 7 and I won't be missing a thing because we all know the next iPhone will be just a spec bump.

Dumped my iphone for a Galaxy S3 last year then jumped to the Note 2 when it came out. Never been so happy. My wife couldn't leave and got the iphone 5 and she wishes she hadn't. She constantly runs out of battery power and is looking for a charger when I just swap my battery out. Has a hard time playing some games like Draw it when I pull out the s-pen and draw perfect. I can type faster than her because of the swype, icloud means nothing when you have gmail account as everything is backed up instantly.

She asked me when the iphone is going to get a larger screen. Hmm, after the 5s so probably next christmas. LOL. That was the last straw. So its either the Galaxy S4 or the LG Optimus G pro and the iphone 5 is hitting craigslist.

You know when your wife has an iphone 5 and you have a Note II and you are both looking at the same picture on facebook on your phones and you lean over and put your Note II next to the iphone 5, you can't help but laugh your arse off at how much the iphone 5 looks like a piece of crap. She hates when I do that.

She took the iphone 5 to our kids school play tonight. My son was in the back singing. She was showing me on the iphone and said its hard to see him, I reached in and tried to pinch to zoom while the video was playing like I can do on the note II and again she was like, oh knock it off. Order me the S4 already. LOL. Done babe, Done.

Sorry but apple is falling waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay behind folks.

What! Gasp! onthecouchagain may leave? Please tell me this is an early April Fool's joke ;)

Personally, I'm trying to decide between the S4 or keeping my S3 until the supposed Google X Phone comes out. I'm not really in a position to be able to buy them both right now so it would be one or the other unless I could find a good Craigslist deal or something. Hell, if I could find a really awesome iPhone 5 Craigslist deal, I would pick it up and use iOS and Android side by side

Just give me an iPhone with a 4.5-5" screen
I really hope this summer Apple brings that, but prob wishful thinking

Since trying the Nexus 4, I want iPhone superior hardware with that size screen

Ecosystem and having access to an Apple Store within 5 mins keeps me in the iOS family

Vanilla Android is still the best way to go IMO
I'll wait for the next gen Nexus devices and KLP

hell no. I want great app-experience not just re-written upscaled cheap copy cat apps and all the malware crap floating around with android, not to mention Samsungs inability to update their devices specially the S3 with the "sudden death problems" not all regions have gotten the update that saves the bloody phone...

I'll keep being safe...

My S3 has been plenty safe. You read too many negative blogs.

I don't think Samsung heard the shot. Aesthetics are at least as important as usability, at least in the Western world an of course just in my opinion. I don't really feel like spending an awful lot of money on a piece of plastic.

Nicely said ;) . To a lot of people paying premium dollars for a phone that has a screen size that belongs to entry level phone just dont make sense.

*sigh*....

Screen size is SUBJECTIVE....it is NOT an advancement of technology....

Quite the opposite actually since somehow, Apple manages to fit better battery life, a more accurate display and a dual core processor that keeps up with the "big boys" and exceeds them in Graphics power....all in a smaller overall footprint.

Some of us don't WANT bigger screens and don't want an entry level phone....

Easy to have good graphics when you have a small screen and a small resolution

Except for the iPhone 5 still blows other GPUs out of the water on resolution-independent benchmarks as well....

And the accuracy of the colors has nothing to do with the resolution or size....simply a better technology (and finer tuning) overall.

I'm gonna swing by the Apple store during lunch to pick it up.

-_-'

I really think if you give it a shot - and understand why it works how it works, you'll be pleasantly surprised.

Of course, you can simply jailbreak it and have pretty much all that Android customization - but I much prefer the efficiency and stability of stock iOS.

Just so you know, i'm not unfamiliar with iOS. I had a 4S for a long time, and still own my iPad 3rd gen. Just to be clear.

And, the truth is, I just need a phone now. Can't stand this backup flip phone I'm using. The iPhone may be just to tie me over until reviews of the S4 come out.

Or, it may be my phone for 2013. : shrug :

We shall see!

Ehh - different uses = different experiences with the iPad vs. iPhone.

Forgot you had the 4S though....for whatever reason, I thought you left the iOS camp earlier than that.

At any rate, having owned both the 4S and the 5 (and having used them side-by-side for a time) I personally feel the 5 is a nice upgrade - the display was the most noticeable point for me - aside from the overall design change of course - (as it's my biggest concern generally speaking). Even without changing the ppi they managed to greatly improve the display quality. I generally run my iPhone at about 20% brightness and it's still extremely crisp and sharp.
