M1 iMac used to be 2,600,000 krw.... 16 GB/512
M3 iMac now is now 2,600,000 krw... 8GB/512
M3 iMac with 2,830,000 krw...... 16GB/512....

So the price jumped up by approximately $200 USD

Why does Apple hate the iMac so much? This is a major disappointment for the iMac, only an M3 CPU with no M3Pro option. This is a really really big miss by Apple. I will definitely be keeping my 2017 27" iMac until they bring out the iMac that most of us 27 inchers want - and hint, it's not a 24" iMac with the low-end processor. The hard push to convince 27" owners to switch to the 24" should go over like a lead ballon.

Still just freaking 8GB in all three “standard“ configuration. That is indefensible at this point.
Have you used a M chip with 8GB of RAM as a basic user? it's perfectly fine. I have a M1 Mini with 8GB/256 SSD and it's doing a ton of stuff all day with no issues. Not everyone needs a massive amount of RAM or Space, but if you do, pay and upgrade. Armchair consumers think they know better than Apple which has every but of data at their fingertips is still mind blowing.

Regular base M3 still starts at 8GB of RAM while the pro starts at 18GB. They hate their baseline products… The cost difference between a 4 GB and a 6 GB chip is literally less than $5.
