Anybody who applied for the College AHA position hear anything more since the hireright email?

I'm still waiting. My background check still in progress according to hireright website. Wish this would speed up though! When did hireright finish your background check?

I finished my background check on jan 29, 2014, and I haven't heard anything back yet. When I log in at hire right's website, it says that my report is completed on jan 29. So I'm still waiting for a responds, hopefully it's that I'm hired!

I haven't heard anything back yet. My HireRight went through on the 4th. I was hoping that I wasn't the only one here waiting for a call after that email! I seriously want this job!

So I just called HireRight to confirm that my background check is indeed complete and that they sent it to Apple. Looks like we only have a criminal background check and not an employment one? The lady searched to see if I had a employment one done as well and she said Apple never requested one? I remember inputting all the information and contact stuff for the employment part but I guess nothing happened with that info.

I don't have my employment done either but am still waiting for the recruiter to contact me.

Non College

I am in college but there isn't a program at my college so I applied for the non college AHA. The first application I did 11/11/13 and a second 01/27/14 does anyone know how long the initial first contact typically takes?

That is kind of weird cause I spoke to hireright today and they are doing employment verification as part of Apples request. She said the entire profile was complete other than one employer that has not responded to a fax the researcher sent out.

Well. Maybe I'll call again tomorrow and ask them why I seem to have won the lottery in bypassing an employment verification lol. I provided all the info and also uploaded some proof in case they change their mind (????).

do you have to provide fax numbers when you do the hireright?

Had my second interview...

First interview was quick 5 mins by phone. Was told would have a Face time interview yesterday which I did. I think I did fairly well, however I was told the next step would be an interview with the hiring manager, if I was selected and they would email me. Just wondering if they usually say that or if they usually tell you if your going to move on to the final interview when done with the second interview. Any comments would be appreciated.

Thanks!!

Not at first but when I checked on the status they asked for one employers fax number to send a request. I am applying to the college aha by the way.

Now this is just amusing and ridiculous. Looks like HireRight did do my employment verification? I called again and the person just kept on repeating "everything is completed".

I received the hireright request on January 31, completed it that day, and saw that the status as "complete" two days later. I think we are all in the same boat in that we have yet to hear anything back from Apple...

Sometimes different people say different things via HireRight. When you're speaking to them, seems to be a lot of inconsistency. One person tells you one thing, then another person says another. Sometimes you have to call twice.

When you call anytime, HireRight documents it and it shows up in the background check. This is fine, I think if it shows up. They put word for word what you called/asked about.

----------

Correct!

----------

Pain in the a$$ the inconsistency via HireRight. You either see what's on the screen in front of you or you don't.

----------

They tell you that your will move on to the final interview ----> after the first Facetime interview, they ask if there are any questions and you must ask, "what are the next steps?"...they usually probably move you on to the 2nd Facetime interview. After the 2nd interview, they don't guarantee anything. They just tell you to wait to be contacted either yes or no either via e-mail or phone.

If I didn't ask "what are the next steps?" does this usually mean no second interview? I never got one scheduled by the lady that interviewed me. She simply said the next steps should you move on will be an email will be sent to you and you will interview with the hiring manager.
