Its crazy easy.. I was actually passed along through 3 interviews in 2 days (even though the first lady said I was good to go). The interview process is JUST like Apple.. The first interview was just stupid easy, they ask you about your office area, basic background info. They will then ask about your technical knowledge and how good you are with customers (no role play questions).

2nd interview was role play questions such as "I am a student and my iPad is not printing my homework to the wireless printer".

Answer: do NOT talk about fixing the printer, instant fail.. Talk about checking the wifi connection on the iPad, restart device, reset network settings.. They dont want to hear you say anything about the printer.. The recruiter will check for empathy, be sure to show it.

There was also the honeymoon question, screen was cracked.. I talked about apple care and she was so happy about that.

3rd interview: apple manager.. She was awesome and this consisted of more role play questions and was more in detail .. they will ask you to tell them some new knowledge you learned from researching Apple products (your second interviewer will tell you to research about products, do it!!). They also quiz you on "so how long is the training". To see if you pay attention to detail.. Its a nice process (thorough). But just show off your customer service skills and basic tech support knowledge. You will get it:)

Cool thanks! I just had my third interview.. she didn't say I got the job though. She said I'd be receiving an email from my recruiter within 24 hours. Did the third interviewer say you got the job?

Does the 3rd interviewer ever say you got the job? I never heard of that happening (would be nice tho!)

I'm.having some problems with my references. I want to use my managers and assistant managers at my current job as references, but they're all saying that if asked they will just say that "yes, I work there." but nothing else. That's kinda lukewarm, should I be worried about this??

Got the call!

I got the offer call this evening! Pending BGC of course! The call came from a restricted number and I was at a sporting event but the recruiter did not seem to mind. She said I will get the BGC email within a week.

My question on the BGC is how far do they go back on your previous employment? I read either 7 years or last 2 employers. Anyone know?

I should be fine, but I know I may have to provide some extra info since the job I have now, they have changed names 3 times.

I am soooooooo excited guys! I wish everyone the best of luck!

I sent the email to the second interviewer. Apparently she's the recruiter. I mentioned both her and my third interviewer by name and mentioned some specifics about why I am excited to be considered for Apple.

No call yet. I reckon I'll be waiting for a week at least.

Keep in mind (I'm talking to myself), just how busy all these recruiters are right now trying to fill slots for Apple.

Mshipman: You realllly helped me out! I had thought about sending a thank you email...but until I read your post, I had forgot.

I sent a thank you email to the initial recruiter that called me and the 2nd interviewer/recruiter. In the first email, I actually mentioned the wrong name, but I went back and sent an email correcting that mistake.

But the 1st recruiter emailed me back saying thank you. And a couple hours later I got the call that offered me the job!

So I would tell anyone to try to remember to send a thank you email. I won't say that that is what got me in, but I'm sure it didn't hurt.

THANK YOU MSHIPMAN!!!

CONGRATS! When was your third interview and what position? So happy for you!

Thank you! My 3rd interview was yesterday. WOW! I just realized it was just yesterday. And my 2nd interview was the day before that! They seem to be moving fast. Oh and it's for the Chat position. Not sure what product I will be supporting.

----------

So I have been lurking since I got my first call from the recruiter and like you all I am going nuts waiting. I had my recruiter call last week and did my second and third interview. I was told it would be at least a week for a reply. Has anyone had their third interview recently and heard anything? I could not read my third interviewer for the life of me :(

Congrats to all who have made it in so far!

----------

Congrats. :)

I felt the same way about my 3rd interviewer. It went well, but then I started second guessing myself. But don't worry, she actually told me it could take up to two weeks. But luckily it didn't. You will hear something soon! I hope you get the good news soon!

That's exactly what the references will be used for. I would not worry

dnewbie- congrats! Can I ask when your first call was? And what shift you listed available for? Wondering if they're not looking as much for graveyard right now or something.

I applied on May 23 and got a call like on the 26 or 27. I aced the first interview....

Then I had a second interview, it went well I thought.

I explained my background.

I told spoke on empathizing with the customer, and staying in tune with the customer letting them know that I am truly here to help. I told her satisfying the customer is my main goal and I will go the extra mile just to accomplish a successful troubleshoot.

I told her I instantly tell the customer "I understand, because if It was me, I will feel the same way".

We did some chat role play,

I believe I did great, all of my grammar and punctuation was great. I had a friendly tone and answered in a great manner and also answered the questions right.

I kept a smile, we laughed... and she said "EXCELLENT" after every question answered.

She said that she have to go over my resume with other recruiters and she would get back with me next week.

I feel I didn't get it... because everyone else the go ahead to the 3rd interview.

She told me to email her if I had any questions.

I feel I didn't get it...

Hey, thanks! I think my first call was on 5/18. I listed the first shift. But that is such a broad range of time and the recruiter said I could start my shift as late as 3pm. But I definitely don't want to start that late.

Can anyone share how many years Hireright goes back in terms of employment? Thanks!

Don't worry...it sounds like you did really well. I second guessed myself as well. It could be possible that she didn't have an interviewer at that moment that she could set you up with since it seems they are doing so many interviews right now. And I was told on my last interview it could take up to two weeks to hear if I got that job or not and it did not take that long.

Well I offically accepted the tier 1 chat position! I'm so excited. They called yesterday ssting my background check was complete and my paperwork will be here Monday. I start with the July group.

I honestly didn't expect to make it this far. :D

Question if any one knows:

In the process of applying for Apple, Kelly connect who contracts apple offered me a position. I was originally told that the apple job wouldn't start until August, so I took the Kelly job until then, bc the job I did have paid horribly and was cutting my hours. Plus I'd already know how to do the apple job when it did start.

Now I'm hearing there is a non poaching contact in place which no one mentioned before hand.

I put that I was working at Kelly on my back ground check with apple so they are aware, and they still offered me the job.
Should I be OK since I did inform them?
