How long does it take after the offer pending bgc call before you actually get the email from hireright to fill out the form? And what is asked on the bgc form for US reps?
It took 3 days before I received the email and it seemed to have come from my recruiter and not hireright.

Paperwork all done and I'm now waiting to start, which is turning out to be almost as difficult as waiting for the call!

I got the job, but after doing a lot of research it seems as if Apple is very aware of how easily replaceable you are and they use that against you. I wanted to be up front and honest. I have a planned event later this year and I asked how time off works and if I would be able to let it be known that I need it off. I was told, "I am not able to disclose that at this time nor am I able to disclose time off procedures and you will need to partner with your supervisor." Also they made sure to say, "Well you told us during the interview you are available anytime." It's not like I was asking for a week off, just one day, months down the road. I wasn't a fan of her extremely scripted and robotic response to my questions. Does anyone know how time off works? Does anyone have any experience of Apple treating employees more like robots and less like a valued employee?

Anyone have any advice on getting contacted?? I have been following this form and basically know that they are looking for a killer cover letter that focuses on customer service.
I know I have a great cover letter and the needed experience. Although I have no professional technical support experience, I feel like this shouldn't be a problem because they seem to only focus on customer service.

If someone would like to read my cover letter and resume I can send it to you in a message and let me know what you think.
I was called one time many months ago and I had applied for the graveyard shift but she was only offering me daytime hours. She told me when I saw the graveyard shift became available again to call her. I have and have left messages but she's never gotten back to me. And I have applied repeatedly for the past few months. Help please! I really REALLY want this job!

I hate to sound desperate. But sadly I am at this point. Lol!

Does anyone know if you are able to travel doing this job as long as you are available during your normal shift or do they frown upon that?

I would say you can go anywhere you want as long as you back home for your shift, but doing it from different locations is probably out because they want you to use your Mac they provide and your home office setup...

Is there a limit on how many different jobs you can apply for? Also, can you apply for any location since it is at-home work? Thanks for any info!

I didn't have a cover letter at all. Just a generic resume.

@dnewbie how long did hire right take to complete your bgc process and after how long was it for you to get an offer letter?

It took a couple of days because they were playing phone tag with my current employer to verify my employment. But once it went through, I was called the next day,

You asked a great question! I almost scheduled travel for a weekend near the end of Sept, but I didn't since I wasn't sure about training. I was told 2 months of training and I was told 2-3 months of training. So since I was unsure, I did not make travel plans. I wish I could answer this for you, but I am wondering the same thing.

Has anyone been told anything other than training will last only/exactly 2 months (7/13-9/13)? At one point I heard it could last 2-3 months. That would mean Monday-Friday. Which would be great for me if it last beyond 2 months because I would like to travel the end of September over a weekend.

Quick Question. I have made it through the interviews and found out my bgc finished on the 1st. I have not received any word from Apple since. Some on here have been contacted the day after with others waiting a while. I am just wondering if anyone knows if this is normal or should I start to worry more than I am. There wasn't anything negative that I saw in the background check so not sure why there would be a delay of 10+ days......

I would definitely contact my recruiter at this point.

Hi I had my 3rd interview last friday and haven't heard yet (2nd day today) how long does it usually take to get a call and/or a no thanks email?

I am reading if they want you they call you fairly quickly.

btw how do I know who my recruiter is?
is it the person that contacted me for my phone interview?

I really have no idea
:p

HI Penny. Did you get moved to 3rd interview right after your 2nd? Or did you have to wait for an email.
