I would think no on the age and race. Except the hiring people I don't see who would even have that info on hand, and if they did that seems highly illegal lol. As far as location idk. My old work at home job we weren't supposed to tell the customer where we were if they asked (which led to some pretty awkward conversations). There are a few threads about customer interactions with AHAs, I would read those.

Quick question, I start my apple job very soon, and I purchased the adequate Internet speeds from my provider(12mbps down, 1 mbps up) however whenever I do my speed test my upload speed will fluctuate between 1mbps up and 0.93 upload. Does anyone know how strict Apple is in regards to their upload speed? I know they say 1mbps upload, however since it is such a minor amount that fluctuates, will I be let go because of this?

So right now Hireright is doing the BG check. I think I read here somewhere before about someone who's past job paid through Paypal. The company I currently work for pays through Paypal so they don't provide pay stubs or 1099. I provided them with contact info though... if that person who posted or anyone who has been in a similar situation please PM me.

I had my 3rd interview yesterday evening. I'm currently waiting on a rejection email :( there's a very small chance (i think) that i will get hired on. I'm horrible at interviews and really showing the interviewer that i have what it takes to do a position. My brain freezes, and i forget what to say. I'm keeping my fingers crossed, but not holding my breath. I have customer service experience, wfh experience, dual chat experience and tech support experience. I will post an update as i hear. My confidence level has pretty much bottomed out. Ahhhhh!

I still have not gotten the email after the first interview that I was supposed to get by EOB Monday. Should I start to worry? Should I email my recruiter and ask for a status update?

Was wondering if anyone knew how much less the Xerox position paid in comparison to the direct hire with Apple. I got rejected after the third interview with Apple but want to still give it a go with the same position with Xerox, they were offering me a very good wage with Apple though and I don't want to quit my job if it's going to be something super low

Hey everybody,
I got my official offer now that the bgc has cleared. I want to say thank you to this community for existing. I don't think I would have gotten here without all of you.

For those of you who are still in the process, keep your head up, study this site and glassdoor.com, be yourself, and let patience have her perfect work.

For those of you who won't make it, don't be afraid to keep trying. I was turned down the job with Apple a couple of years ago, and now I'm in!

For those of you who do make it, can't wait to see you on the other side!

How long after the 3rd interview did it take for you to find out they are going with other candidates? I'm a nervous wreck.

HI! Congrats!!!!!! I tried to look back at old posts so I didn't have to ask, so sorry in advance if this has already been answered. How long were you waiting after submitting your bgc? I JUST completed mine today. Thanks! and congrats again!

I submitted my bgc on last Friday morning. It was completed yesterday (Tuesday), and the call came today. It was completed pretty quickly because the courts were very quick to respond. I've never heard of it going this fast, honestly. You can also request HireRight give you a copy of the report. I was actually able to see it at the same time they sent it to Apple.
