How long after the 3rd interview did it take for you to find out they are going with other candidates? I'm a nervous wreck.

I had my 3rd interview Friday, and I got my call yesterday saying I was offered the job if my bgc was good. So 2 business days. But i've seen others here wait the full 2 weeks. I think it depends on the person calling you.

I'm going to end up making myself sick, waiting to hear back. I will be shocked if i dont get hired, but surprised if i do lol. I really just dont know what to think at this time. I think i bombed the verbal scenario parts, but i feel i killed the chat portion, which i think is the important part, since the position is for chat support. I just dont know! Talking on this board has calmed my nerves lol i hate to sound like such a negative Nancy but i guess that's better than being over confident. I'm losing my mind!

I had my 3rd interview yesterday evening. I'm currently waiting on a rejection email :( there's a very small chance (i think) that i will get hired on. I'm horrible at interviews and really showing the interviewer that i have what it takes to do a position. My brain freezes, and i forget what to say. I'm keeping my fingers crossed, but not holding my breath. I have customer service experience, wfh experience, dual chat experience and tech support experience. I will post an update as i hear. My confidence level has pretty much bottomed out. Ahhhhh!

Oh dear! Stay positive! I, too, am absolutely awful at interviews. Especially those "Tell me about a time/What did you do" questions. I have failed every single interview that had one of those type dealies so I was certain I wasn't going to make it. You could see a few pages back, I really felt like I didn't do a great job. And I did get the conditional offer call so you never know. Stay positive though. Really envision yourself working for Apple. Try and get your life in order to get ready for working for them (get a new desk/chair, clear out your work space).. try meditation and really shake those negative thoughts.

I submitted my bgc on last Friday morning. It was completed yesterday (Tuesday), and the call came today. It was completed pretty quickly because the courts were very quick to respond. I've never heard of it going this fast, honestly. You can also request HireRight give you a copy of the report. I was actually able to see it at the same time they sent it to Apple.

Rev411 when do you start? Did they tell you when to expect paperwork?

I looked at the report of my bgc and I realized that I had 3 misdemeanors connected to a car accident from 5 yrs ago. I had absolutely no idea that I had misdemeanor charges for that accident and it has shown up on my bgc. I am so freaking worried that I am gonna develop an ulcer!
oh , you were charged without knowing? dose your status have a message? i had one from 5 years ago car as well but i still made it through.

Hello !
I'm new to this website, so please be patient. I have been out of the workforce for a few years and I have decided to go back to work. I have been applying to every job post with Apple for chat and voice. It appears that a lot of them are from May. Am I missing something or do the jobs stay open that long ? Have any of you ever been out of the workplace for any length of time ? and then apply and get a job ?
I have never worked at home. I feel like my chances are fairly slim to get a chat job although, I do have customer service experience.
If I may ask, since it seems many of you are familiar with working at home, are there companies that are easy to get in with for working at home ?
I'm sorry for all the questions, I just don't know who else to ask. If you have any suggestions of good forums/websites for people to talk and get different information, please post. THANK YOU !

Im currently employeed by amazon.com and i work from home. The pay isnt near as good as apple. The benefits, restricted stock and quartly bonuses are nice. Could try there? They hired me after being on unemployment due to outsourcing. I was unemployed for around 18 months when i started there.

If you don't see the line that says Adjudication Status, do a search in that document for that word. On mine it's the section below the section titled Complete Report. It includes Date Request Submitted, Request Completion Date, Adjudication Status, and Adjudication Status Set. Then it goes into all of the detail.

EDIT: Wait, is your BGC complete or are you just looking at the Applicant Center screen? You won't see the report status until the report is complete.

Mine just says the dates submitted/completed.. nothing else on that line
