For those of you waiting for your call after the BGC, just wait.

I got the email that mine cleared on July 13 and finally heard back today. I think they got back logged. They hired A LOT of people.

I was supposed to be in the July class, but I guess my bg cleared after the class filled up. So I'll be starting Aug 24. Super excited to start my career!!

My BGC was completed and "meets company standards" since July 8… I'm still waiting on official offer call and starting to get a little nervous. Has anyone else had to wait this long?

I'm heading into my 3rd and final interview next Monday, how long does it take them to give you a offer or denial?

Can someone who has already completed the hireright process please PM me? I got my offer contingent on bgc call yesterday, waiting on the email for the bgc now but I have a couple of questions about it.

They say they'll let you know in 2 weeks but I got called the next day. Good luck!

I was actually told at the end of my third interview that I would hear back within 5-7 business days. I got the call the next day too.

I just got the offer contingent on bgc and she said I would get an email in a couple of days to get the bgc process started. How long does it usually take to get that email? Now that I've gotten through the interviews, I really want to get the bgc started as quickly as possible to try to avoid any of the hireright horror stories I've read.

I got an email within 24 hours and the background check took about a week for them to complete bc they had a hard time contacting one of my previous employers. I've been waiting for official offer call/email since July 8.

I got the email about 2 minutes after my last post. lol I just submitted it, and am hoping it won't take too long. I'm supposed to start on 8/31 so that should be plenty of time, but I'm still worried. One of my previous employers closed, so that might be an issue. I have all my W2's that I would gladly scan and send them to cut down on their work.

So I'm filling out my background check? Do they just want like the last 5 years of employment history? I had a lot of odd jobs before I went back to college in 2009. Do you think going back to 2009 is far enough?

I did a live chat with hireright while doing mine. I was told they want the last 5 years OR 3 employers. So if you've had more than 3 jobs in the last 5 years, they only want the 3 most recent.

Thanks. I did a lot of odd jobs before college and I have a pretty strong work history since 2009. I'm running into some trouble with The Work Number not having my records from my most recent employer, but hopefully I can get that straight sooner than later. Side Note: The Work Number also apparently has records of me being employed at a couple of places I haven't.... So thats another issue to tackle this week. Butttttttt! I'm really excited about working for apple and want the BGC form to be meticulously accurate so I can rock this out. Everyone I've talked to seems so awesome, and I really want to be a good asset and not a problem.

I feel the same way. I've wanted this job for years and now that I've made it through the interviewing process, I can't stop worrying that something will go wrong with my bgc. It seems that most people have no issue with it, but with my luck, I will be one if those rare cases where it takes over a month or something else will go wrong.

Same here! I have a great job but I want Apple. Plus I miss working from home. If I could, I'd send them all of my w2s and my high school transcripts just to speed up the process.

Got my "Ah, Paperwork" e-mail Wednesday and my Welcome to Apple folder Thursday! I don't think I could be more excited. Both confirmed that I will be Graveyard Chat support, and I'm starting Aug 17th. :) I'm assuming all you lucky August 10th people are daytime people or phone support, since our training will overlap

Congrats Apples <3

If you prove yourself to be really good, maybe? Otherwise I'd say it's no better than any other customer service background. As far as I'm aware, they don't really consider your work history as a factor in hiring you, only in whether they interview you. That's entirely based on research and previous answers to that question in this thread, though, so YMMV. Anyone else have any input?
Hello, I so wish I was where you are now! I have received my call/offer, said I'm in and did the background check. Hireright had some issue with verifying my employment with Verizon. I have sent her all my W-2's for the time period she requested. I haven't heard back in about 3-4 days. Getting nervous. I was hoping to be into the paperwork aspect by now. Thanks for any input to ease my mind. You guys are great for that...

right, does it say complete or does it say meets company standards? if it says meets company standards then you're just waiting for the call. as soon as mine said that i emailed my recruiter and expressed my excitement and just wondered as to what the next steps would be and she called me back a couple hours later with my final offer.
