@nervesareshot Congratulations! What time do the classes start?
Sorry it took so long to get back to you...been very busy this week, trying to take care of everything I needed to before classes start for me. My start date is July 27th....exactly 2 months to the day since I received my first phone call from Apple lol

SO i went thru 3 interviews and ended up not getting the job almost a month ago, and yesterday i got an email for a phone interview with the apple store. If i get it, does anyone know how easy it might be to transfer to at home advisor?
On my last interview, the interviewer (a Team Lead) told me you are locked into your position for a year...

To all of you applying, interviewing, waiting on bgc, etc, be aware that this is all a PROCESS, and it takes quite awhile to move through it. I received my initial call from Apple on May 27th, and my training starts July 27th. A full 2 months to the day. Every part of the journey takes time, and it IS agonizing. My background check took over 2 weeks (as it turned out, a county court was just taking it's sweet time), and then it took 2 days for my adjudication to change from "Complete" to "Meets Company Standards". Then, almost a week to hear from my recruiter. So, even though you have chewed your nails to the nub, try not to totally freak out (I did lol). Keep in mind that only 5% of the people who apply for Apple get the job, which means there are a TON of things our recruiters have to do and sift through. Good luck to you all!

This is 100% true.
I had been applying for almost a year. I got my FIRST call on May 29. I was told I was interviewing for a spot in the July class. My entire interview process was faster than most (all three done within a matter of a few days), but I waited almost a week for my offer call. I got that on June 11. I got an email stating my BGC was completed June 13. I didn't hear ANYTHING after that until July 14. Apparently the class I was supposed to be in filled up. So now I start end of August. My friend is currently an AHA and she had been telling me they recently hired a lot of people. I think they are just overloaded at the moment. So just breathe. I was just as anxious as you guys. I never waited so long to be called after a BGC. I thought something was wrong. But now I'm excited to start!

Just finished my 3rd interview and hiring manager said could be up to 2 weeks before I hear from my recruiter...how long did it take most of you to hear back?

Oh no!!! I must have just missed the hiring surge then. :( I applied over a year ago, and got nixed after the third interview. I just lost my job last month and in the flurry of re-applying to a bunch of places I just remembered the AHA position. Do they seem to really care if I am applying to AHA positions that are in different states/cities than I am in? There are literally NONE posted in my area. I'm so nervous, I really need this job...

No!! Apply anywhere you see an opening. That was my problem. When I first applied I only did Southern California locations. When I applied again, I went crazy and applied anywhere I could find one. I think they wound up calling me off one based in Florida. It does t matter where you live, your internet speed and work space is more important.

Thank you so so much for that! I'll be flooding them with applications then and keeping my fingers crossed, haha! :)

Oh! I almost forgot. Has anyone had any luck with applying to positions that are a few months old...? Since that is the majority of what is left now....

Hello everyone glad to be a member now. I am about to have my 3rd interview and I have a question: If you work as an advisor for another company supporting apple can you get hired by apple to be an at home advisor? I would quit the other job and take the at home advisor job with apple. Is there any conflict of interest? Should I let my recruiter know that I am doing at home work for another company? Thanks for any guidance in this matter.

Yes you should let them know because they are going to do a background check and will find out who you work for. If you lie most likely they won't pass you on background check so be open and honest to them

I have not started to work for the other one yet. My 3rd interview will be before I start too. I don't want to start if it would ruin my chance to be hired by apple. Do you know the answer to this?
