hey guys.
i am currently going through the hireright scandal. the employment date discrepancy. i was hired through a third party to work for verizon wireless. my job was only able to verify employment to june of 2014, when i was actually working there since december of 2013. also, on my application i had accidentaly put 02/2013 when i meant to put 12/2013. i was in contact with the recruiter letting her know about the discrepancy, i sent in paystubs to hireright to confirm that i indeed was employed in december, but they said it will still be a discrepancy due to a typographical error. i'm nervous that this is going to stop me from getting employement.
on top of that i have a dismissed midemeanor, and am wondering if dismissed misdemeanors will bar me from employment. i'm supposed to start the end of august. and i can't stop obsessing over this. has anyone else had this problem, and got the job. or know anything about what may happen?

My bgc was completed and approved last Tuesday, and my HR rep reached out to me today to say they were finishing up a few things.
Ive been waiting 3 weeks since bgc complete to get my official offer eith paperwork call.

I spoke to someone..she said she waa wairing on the greenlight to get papaerwork and next steps out..its been a week.i know they have a ton of people so im planning on emailing again

Congrats. How long BGC take and them to call with final offer?I got an official offer call this afternoon! I'm very excited
I submitted request on last Wednesday, completed on yesterday, got a call today. On my report, the researcher couldn't verify my last employment, but it was not problem at all.
So, some personal stuff here, sorry: Does anyone know of any way to call and see if they are even going to give that first call? I really don't want to come across as pushy but I was just told that if I can't make arrangements to pay my rent then I need to pack my stuff and leave. So far every other job offer from elsewhere I have had has fallen flat, so I am at my wit's end.
I am guessing it depends on the type. I know someone who had an active misdemeanor pending and still got hired, I guess it depends on the type and whatnot
any charge, regardless if felony or misdemeanor, will not count against you if it was dismissed.
employment discrepancies usually aren't a big deal either as long as you have been in contact with your recruiter and they're aware of the error. they usually require you to be correct within 6 months of employment dates but since you've spoken with your recruiter and given them additional info i don't see it being a problem. they paid for the bgc because they want you, so they're working with you not against you

I wonder if they go by name, who applied first or such. Because some people seem to be waiting longer for the same positions.
Maybe they go by the HR manager.
I would expect someone who finished earlier to have their final offer quicker.

I've been applying frequently since February. Tweaked my resume and cover letter in any way possible. Totally qualified with lots of experience, chat agent in tech field specifically, had multiple employee referrals submitted for me. Not even a first call so far. This thread will make you feel like everyone just gets called and it's not true. You can be the ideal candidate and hear nothing and watch 100 people go through here. It's frustrating. I would definitely not count on this job pulling through, and definitely not on any time frame. :/
Just completed my 3rd interview for September training as well. All 3 people I've talked to have been exceptional.

Maybe you can apply through Xerox or Kelly? Pay might be lower, but worth try....
