I start on 8/31 too!
If my bCG comes back okay. I previously posted what's going on. I'll start beginning of September. So I think the Class right after yours. I'm not assigned to a team yet either :/ but I think IOS. Seems to be that because all my questions involved a iPad or iPhone and weirdly apple car?

Hello Everyone,

I hope that everyone is doing okay and I hope that maybe I will be told soon if I made it or not? Had my 3rd interview and I think I did okay. My interviewer was so cool and easy going. Went through some role play and technical questions which I hope that I answered the way Apple would expect me to. I hope to make it to a September training class and maybe would have a start date or offer call/email soon. Working for Apple would be a dream job for me and my family and I will be watching my email and phone for the next few weeks. The hardest part will be waiting to hear something. Im sure everyone else went through the same thing. Well, good luck to everyone and I hope everything works out for all who applied or is thinking about applying. Let the waiting begin!

Just completed my 3rd interview for September training as well. All 3 people I've talked to have been exceptional.

Fingers crossed! Waiting is the hardest part!

I just had my 3rd interview today, lasted 30min. First let me say her Facetime connectin was poor, She asked me soooo many different questions! I think I did an Ok job. I did much better with the role play by showing Empathy first then basic troubleshooting. She said She would get with my recuiter and I will be getting an email within 2weeks letting me know if I got the job or not. I did an ok job, maybe I did bette than I givin myself credit for.

So, some personal stuff here, sorry: Does anyone know of any way to call and see if they are even going to give that first call? I really don't want to come across as pushy but I was just told that if I can't make arrangements to pay my rent then I need to pack my stuff and leave. So far every other job offer from elsewhere I have had has fallen flat, so I am at my wit's end. :(

I'm a bit surprised that you would base if you will be able to pay your rent on a job that you don't have yet. Just like any job you would apply to, it's a waiting game. Even if they called you today, you would still have to go through a lot more. There is no way you will be able to pay your rent.

Yeah, I have a little freelance work so I can stay afloat for a few weeks with the arrangements made on the rent but I need something more regular. So far, I've gotten one offer... for 5 hours every other week. Not exactly enough to pay my bills! :( I remember last time I went through this it took a month for my first call, and then about 2 weeks of interviews before I got the "thanks for playing" email. But I am seeing on here some people are getting calls right away and moving through so much faster! It's a bit discouraging, to be honest, though I am glad it's working out for them.

Hello everyone! First off, thanks to everyone who has contributed to this post. It helped get me to the BGC part of the interviewing process. I'm superrrrr nervous about, although I have no criminal history, I still can't help but to worry a little bit. I'm seriously checking my phone every 30 mins! Here's a timeline of my AHA process so far:

July 7th = Phone Call Screening
July 16th = Facetime Interview (HR Manager)
July 27th = Facetime Interview (Hiring Manager)
July 28th = Offer Call Contingent on BGC
-- Submitted BGC that same day
Earlier today, July 29th = HireRight called. (I didn't enter in my first job dates correct. The guy I spoke too said it was no problem and that he would change it on his end.)

And hereeeeee I am now. The recruiter said it could take about a week to complete the BGC but I'm hoping it completes before Friday (maybe even tomorrow) so my nerves can rest easily.

I so badly want that official offer call.

What info was taken during the BCG?

I listed 2 jobs

Do they search for past jobs held or just verify What I listed? Everything else will be totally fine. this is my only concern.

I have listed my last 3 jobs, only one was in last 5 years. HireRight contacted only the newest one, but ended up as "discrepancy". I still got offer call next day!

The job they asked about was my very first job. It was about maybe 2/3 months. I put 2011 inside of 2010. I'm not too worried about it, though. My 2nd & 3rd job is 4 & 1/2 years combined.

Don't know yet-- well officially. I haven't received any official info beside pay, and when they expect for me to start (September) I'm hopefully going to find out before August, or at least the second week of Aug, so I can give a proper notice.
