I did a search for kelly in this thread and the first thread that was archived and read pretty much everything (plenty of posts). I'm still wondering one thing. How difficult is it to go from Kelly to Apple? It looks like from what I've read at least one poster here interviewed with Apple separately and landed a job with Kelly experience on the resume. Some agencies negotiate a 6 month window between the companies they service but I'm having trouble finding evidence that this is the case here. Also it seems there was another post from one person attesting to the fact that they had known a few people that got their foot in the door at Kelly and managed to land a job at Apple after applying separately.

I'd definitely appreciate it if someone could chime in here that may be more in the know about the technicalities.
Just heard from someone that was hired by Apple from Kelly, he had to be on with Kelly for a year before he got hired. Makes you think!

I just got hired onto chat, had the first day orientation and equipment shipment this morning. Seems great so far. I am happy to answer what questions I can about the hiring process and what not if anyone is interested. Anyone is more than welcome to PM me and I am happy to publicly answer what I can in keeping with the NDA.

I am through week three in training and all I can say is that I now understand the obsession with getting hired. The atmosphere is exactly what you would expect, the benefits are amazing and the pay is tops. It's so worth the time and effort.

I can finally apply for these KellyConnect positions again since it's been more than 6 months since I last applied.

Wish me luck guys!
That's kind of odd to me. I applied with Kellyconnect a few weeks ago and got a rejection out of the gate. I reapplied yesterday and got a video interview tomorrow. Fingers crossed.

Anyone having issues with Hire Right background checks
Have worked at the same company for 4 years which has been confirmed
But they can't verify past employment at a now shut down coffee shop.... I feel like I will miss out because of this. Have emailed the recruitment email to explain but have not received a response

Hired through Apple or Kelly?

I was just hired through Kelly and they said I had to have 10 down and 2 up for internet speed. I've already gone through an internet speed test with them. I thought at first it was 1.5 mbps upload requirement? Then today he says 2??

Anyone know what it is? I told him I only get 20 mbps for down and 1.5 for upload? He said, he didn't think that would be a problem???
But wasn't sure.

Same thing happened to me! Rejected first time, weeks later I had an internet and now hired.

Hi,

I didn't know anything about this position until recently. I don't know where you guys are from but the position I saw didn't really specify if it was taking calls or chat only. I would much prefer chat only. I never knew how to get a job like that, I always thought it was a low paying job anyway. I've chat to many people online about phone bills or internet. Most the people I chat to are from Philippines I think and they probably don't get paid much but working from home just tops almost anything for me personally.

Anyway, just wondering, I see some of you saying chat but is this a chat job or a phone job? Is it different in every country? The only thing that's stopping me from applying is I don't know if it's chat or phone only. Are chat only jobs hard to find? I saw a few English teaching jobs online as well. Working from home sounds like a dream job to me as I hate taking public transport to go to work everyday.

Still no news

Don't worry. I totally messed up a date on my resume. It was years ago and I thought I was hired one year sooner than I was. Apple HR called me after a couple weeks and they talked to me about it, and they said they'd be investigating and get back to me.

It sucked, because I ended up not starting until 2 months later, but because the delay caused me to not be eligible for a raise the next year (raises are in Jan, but only for people who have worked at least 6 months), I ended up getting a nice raise from my original offer to make it up to me. I felt so incredibly guilty and I would have completely understood if my offer was retracted, so I was shocked they upped my offer when the inconvenience was completely my fault anyway. If you have paystubs/bank deposits, and you worked there a few years ago, you're gonna be fine. :)

It totally depends on the job description that is posted when you apply. Chat has been increasing pretty steadily lately as Apple makes it more accessible to the customer and tries harder to promote it. Chat indeed is pretty amazing, and working from home is just that much more bonus. There are no mixed chat and phone positions. So either your a phone advisor or your a chat advisor. Hope that helps answer your question.

Yep, this is a phone position! They generally specify if it is Chat in the title/description. My specific title at Apple has the word "Chat" in it.

Edit: Though I know several people who did phone for 6 months and moved to chat, so it might be worth it to get your foot in the door on phones. Also, they require a private/quiet workspace with a door on chat, too, because we have pretty regular meetings with our managers and team. I see mine 2-3 times in a 4 day week.

Found out yesterday that all worked out and I'm in starting 3rd of march :)
Hire right are shocking to deal with but Apple obviously look at the whole picture :)

Hello all,

I have applied Apple AHA (in Turkey) almost 45 days ago.

Steps:
1- 15 minutes phone call... DONE
2- 45 minutes skype call... DONE
3- HireVue technical questions webcam interview... DONE
4- HireRight background check... DONE

Even if the background check is completed (in the report, "completed, positive" information seems to be submitted to Apple), I have no response for 9 days. No call, no e-mail.

Oh man, I am waiting for call like a sad baby waiting for milk and it makes me sick. Is this normal? Should I keep silent and wait, or ask for an update? Thanks for your attention.

[doublepost=1487874576][/doublepost]Hey Litera,
I'm Nicole with HireVue. Yikes, that's a long time to wait! Do you have your recruiter's email address? If not, email our Support team at: support@hirevue.com, call us at 800-655-4106, or connect through live chat at www.hirevue.com so we can get you in touch with your recruiter. It can take a little longer for Apple to get back to you, but I recommend contacting your recruiter regardless.
